some things are just not meant to be remembered.

because i was bored, i visited at a website i made years back that showcased some of my (supposed) "poems," articles, and narratives (not yet a story, perhaps, but hey, they had a plot) and photos. i marveled at the way i made it (though it looks slightly off on firefox). it had codes i've forgotten.

(before, i knew how to make inline frames. but frames went out of vogue. too bad.)

i was naive and narcissistic enough to think that some people would 'steal' my work and claim it as their own. thus, i put a protective code that discouraged highlighting the text. if you can't highlight it, you can't copy and paste it. if you really want to copy the text, you will have to type it by hand (or know html to distinguish the html code from the actual text). i also made the whole site convoluted enough so that the text won't appear even if you looked at its source file.

(malate peeps who are involved in website-making - maybe you can incorporate this in our website so that we can avoid plagiarism. ym/e-mail me for the code.)

how i wish the actual text was worth those convolutions. i was reading the pieces. i *almost* hurled.

i'm taking down the website as i type this. no one should be subjected to that horror.
