Wow

So I found out today that my friend Derek was in the hospital and awaiting possible brain surgery. He went in for a cat scan this morning because he has been having major sinus problems and they were thinking about surgery for that. They found a small spot on his brain and thought he might have to have emergency surgery tonight. Turns out it was something with his sinuses that caused the spot on his brain and he doesn't have to have surgery tonight, but he'll be meeting with the neurosurgeon next week. That is scary stuff. I complain alot about things that bother and aflict me, but I've never had anything like that happen. I was going to go to a jewelery party at aunt sherri's tonight, but Derek's mom called to see if I wanted to visit with them. I figured that if I had been in the hospital all day I'd want tons of people to come see me, so I'm skipping out on the old lady party to go see Derek.
I've been cleaning out all my drawers and my closet today and I've already gotten 4 full garbage bags. It's pretty funny to see what I used to wear a few years ago. Everything I owned was ugly and the size of a house. Bah. Hey Tiffany- when we have our yard sale do you want to bring some of your stuff out to it?
