(no subject)
The past few days have been pretty nice. Thursday night I went with Jonathan, Bert, Tiffany, and Aleah to Murray Hill. Bernard and The Working Title were really good. I could watch Bernard play for hours...they had a keyboard, the guitarist played with a violin bow once in a while, and they had some real cool footage playing in the background during their set. I'm not really a fan of Mewithoutyou...but I really appreciated the ribbon dancing and flower tossing. Friday I spent the day with Jonathan's family; his grandma and great grandma were in town. They were really hilliarious.
Grandma: Jordan, I have a headache, if I lay down right here will you rub my head?
Jordan: Rub your own head! *moves to floor*
Great Grandma: Watch out Jordan! If she rolls over on you, you'll feel it! You'd think she was 85, not me!
Friday night I went and saw Anchorman with Jonathan and Derek and it delivered, just like I knew it would. The beginning was kind of slow, but there were quite a few really funny parts. My favorite part was a fight scene with like a million cameos. "It got a little out of hand back there...it really escalated." "There were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident."
This morning we had band practice and it went well. Sherod can really sing. I like it. I also heard from school and found out that I got into the dorm I wanted, so I'm happy about that. Now all I have to worry about is getting a creepy and or smelly roommate. Like I can handle it if they aren't exactly my type, It's not like we have to be best friends....but if they smell like meat or something it will make the situation less than livable. This afternoon I'm going bowling with Jonathan and my dad. Now I don't really like bowling, ok I hate it, but they enjoy it, so I'll let them have their fun.
I want to see Napolean Dynamite.
