some people call me the space cowboy
hello. well today was very excellent, as well as tiring at the same time. i got up around 12, i think, and then shortly after went to redeem gift cards at various locations. ahhh yes. free money. the feeling you get when you walk into best buy, see the rows and rows of countless compact music discs that one can purchase, and clutch the $40 gift card in your hand: indescribable. i wanted to frolic (or dance like napoleon). from there, circuit city, and virgin, i purchased the following music albums:
the blue album -- weezer (i know every song on there, so why not buy it?)
Experience Hendrix -- The Best of Jimi Hendrix (aughguaghuahgughg...sooo goood)
1967-1970 -- The Beatles (so many classics, a must have for the season)
The Steve Miller Band Greatest Hits 1974-78 (if you're not familiar with these guys, steve miller was the guitarist for the eagles and then he formed this band. they have made such classic hits as "Fly like an eagle" and, my favorite, "The Joker.")
Strange Magic -- The Best of Electric Light Orchestra (ELO is simply classic,and genius)
and that was it with the music. i then took myself and nathan to guitar center and got a phantom power supply for our condenser microphone and now im here. well ima go check out some of this stuff and sleep. later.
