Support...

I must say that I grow tired of seeing signs that say, "I support the troups", bumper stickers saying "I support the war in iraq", even facebook groups saying the same thing. Just because you either put a sign up, put another bumper sticker on your car (below the I love jesus one, of course...) or joined a facebook group, does not make you a supporter of the war. Do you give money to the war effort? Do you go over and help them fight? Do you comfort the families of the dead soldiers? No. You put up some stupid sign and an american flag and say that you actually do something for the soldiers in iraq. If I were a soldier coming back, I'd be pretty pissed to see people with signs like that, it's like, if you're supporting me, where the fuck were you when my best friend got shot down, and where the fuck were you when our base got attacked? You didn't support me. I don't want to get into "should we have gone to iraq" politics bull shit that doesn't really mean anything at this point, since we're already in it and most of the intelligent people of the country already know it was stupid. I'm just saying take off your stupid bumber sticker and signs if you aren't actually doing anything to help anybody.

And don't think that I just hate the conservatives. I came across this website, and it ammused me. I put it on my profile, and i got a good laugh.

But some fucking amusing website, and some stupid chain email that I get in my email about how bad the war is and how bush is evil does not make you better then a conservative. And I saw a bumper sticker on a car that said "bush is evil"... evil. That's such a strong word. If bush is so evil, why don't you do something about it? I mean to call a president evil... not "a bad president", not "someone who made poor decisions", not "a drug addict who shouldn't have been at yale in the first place", but evil... I mean to call someone evil, that's like, wow, we'd better start a rebellion. Yes, you hippies cracked the code, he isn't a jackass from texas, he is in fact, pure evil. I hate to break it to you liberals out there, but it will take more then a bumper sticker on your car, right below the "i love jesus one", and right above the "legalize marijana" one, to combat evil. And no, going to a phish/guster/dmb concert won't help either. And to back track a little, "legalize marijuana"? It doesn't take a degree in economics to know that if the government did legalize marijuana, there's a little something called "taxes", and weed would probably be expensive as fuck, meaning you hippies would have to get a job, meaning you wouldn't have time to smoke marijuana... but anyway...

Am I generalizing? Yes, of course I am. My whole point isn't who's right, who's wrong. Just think before you put up some stupid bumper sticker or sign, so I don't get pissed off when you equally bad political drivers cut me off when you're trying to make a left hand turn from the right lane twice in the same day, one liberal one conservative. And no I'm not making this up. It proved to me that you're all the fucking same.

peace out
