I guess I was the blind one
So I got off the phone with Patricks mom (Patricia) and I guess its weird to talk to your boyfriends mom, but she wanted to talk make sure he was alright and that I was fine and yada yada. So we get to the closing of our short less than 5 min conversation and she asked me "I know this is soon, but when you and Patrick get married, can it be at St. Annes?" St. Annes is their church in Houston (really pretty and huge). It just caught me off guard because I thought parents are blind to those kind of things. They dont know whats going on in their kids relationships, but apparently I have been mislead and WRONG!!!!!!!! After informing her that it had already been decided by Patrick and I that when we were to get married we both would like it to be at St. Annes... She sounded so happy and said she imagined it and it made me happy... It made my crappy evening so much better knowing that she loves me and approves of our future together. The fact that she didnt ask if we ever talked about it she just asked if we could get married at st. annes.... anyway lesson for the wise, your parents pay more attention than you think and they dream about it also.
