A little sunshine in the day
When I got prints of my holiday pictures back from the store there was a little note folded around one of them. It was a compliment on the picture and said it reminded the writer of a Vermeer. High praise indeed for a little snapshot (and due more to the subject's fine choice of Christmas Eve costume rather than the photographer's skill), but it made me smile.
