I went to Maine last weekend for the first time, with Justin. We spent most of the weekend at Naval Air Station Brunswick to see the Blue Angels. They were INCREDIBLE, as was the Golden Knights Army parachutists and other aerobatic performers.

One of the sponsors for the air show was a big car dealership, and they had a lot of program cars for sale. I got to play inside of a couple BMWs and a Pontiac Solstice. Justin yelled at me to get out of the cars since we were at an AIR SHOW. haha

Tropical Storm Hanna moved in while we were in Portland for the night. We got drenched (even with umbrellas) getting from the restaurant to the hotel, which ended up being on opposite sides of downtown.

I'm in Baton Rouge for the weekend, for Career Day. I got to see the devastation in Baton Rouge from Gustav first hand. I never, in a million years, thought Baton Rouge could get this kind of damage from a hurricane, so far inland. I saw pictures of downed oaks at LSU, and of friends' houses being smashed in by trees, and it broke my heart. In most neighborhoods I've driven in, there were piles of tree trunks and branches lined on the the sides of the road. And there are blue tarps! Never though I'd see blue tarps in Baton Rouge due to hurricane nonsense either :(
