After going through
my Backloggery, I have come to the conclusion that I am spending far too much of my free time on the Internet/dicking around, and not enough playing video games (which actually DOES feel to me like achieving something, much as it might not seem like it to the outside world).
SO...I am making a New Summer's Resolution. Starting when my classes do - that is, on Tuesday - it will be my goal to spend a large part of every other day working on comps stuff. The in-between days, however, I plan to spend sitting at home playing video games and trying to finish at least SOME of my massive backlog (seriously, according to my Backloggery I have yet to beat 81 games, or 65.9% of the games I own; a good portion of them I haven't even started or have played only a few hours of).
I'm going to spend today working on my first annotation for comps (mostly because I promised it to my special interest list advisor this week, and THE WEEK ISN'T OVER YET OFFICIALLY AMIRITE), and tomorrow I have some errands to run (I desperately need to get a haircut, for one, and I also need to check something regarding my fellowship with the grad college, and I need to go grocery shopping, and I need to call and make an appointment with the dentist, and few other things). Tuesday will be a work day, since it's the first day of class and I'll be on campus anyway. Since after that we'll set up regular meetings for said class (I imagine weekly or biweekly), that means Wednesday will both be a day off and a VIDEOGAME DAY.
(At this point my top priority is finishing Mass Effect, because a) I really want to know what happens and b) then
lordtravis can borrow it, because he's also a big Bioware fan. After that my top priorities are Mana Khemia, Persona 3: FES and No More Heroes.)
