Summary: After a visit to the barber some days ago failed to tame Lee’s cowlick, Lee decides to take up on Ino’s offer to trim his hair despite threats of shaving his head bald. Thinking that his visit to Ino’s might prove awkward, Lee brings Sai along hoping that his new friend might ease the tension and put Sai’s newly acquired “making friends” skills to use.
Lee was squirming in his jump suit. When he wasn’t fiddling with the loose bandages around his arms, he would be constantly looking at his reflection in the glass window of the Yamanaka Flower Shop. He made a face at the cowlick that sprouted forth from his crown like a weed that would not submit. He turned to his expressionless companion who was idly standing there like a tourist not knowing what to do.
"SAI! I know we have only met for a few short days and I want to thank you for accompanying me. However, today I will not be the same Lee you see before you. TODAY, I SHALL BE A CHANGÉD YOUTH!" Lee dramatically posed. "So, for your convenience - I will wear this name tag so you will be able to recognize me after my transformation." Lee pulled out a rectangular sticker that read ‘HELLO! My name is LEE’ and slapped it onto his chest. He sucked in the afternoon air and boldly opened the door of the shop not knowing what surprises would be waiting for him.
