I'm not going to lie to you, System of a Down is a terrible band.
Now, "terrible" is a relative word. I know some people actually like them, myself included...but, I only like the first album by them. Because that is before they lost sight of everything that is actually music. Back before Serj went crazy and started making up stupid ass lyrics that make no sense...but everyone is too dumb to realize it.

They don't. Tell me that the song "Shimmy" has a deep political meaning. Say it right now so I can slap you in the face and call you a liar. Tell me right now that Serj or some asshole didn't just say that there are political undertones to the lyrics in an effort to make it look like SOAD is a good band and that Toxicity is a good album, and not just a lackluster follow up to their brilliant self-titled album. You know, I did like the first single off of Toxicity. When I first heard "Chop Suey" on the radio I almost peed my pants. I taped it and listend to it endlessly, but I soon realized that Serj has no fucking writing ability.

How? How does that make any sense? THAT is why they suck, in my opinion. Becuase they write non-sensical bullshit and morons eat it up as some psuedo-political stand against "amerikkka". What happened? Where did the actual good writing go? Did they sit down after completion of their first album and just say, "Hey guys, let's just see what we can get away with on our next album."
Goddamn. Also, never let the guitarist sing. Not only does he have a terrible voice, he also acts like an obnoxious prick in the chop-suey video. Yeah, you have a singing part in the song, we don't need to see your face more than 30 seconds the entire video. Also, keep your shirt on, no one cares about your tattoos.
