Good Weekend
August is already shapping up to be better than evil July. Friday met up with Adrian and had some yummy cupcakes and crumbs then got a lot of research done at the library. Saw Tyrone for a bit then paid Sara her monies for con stuff. After that went to Duet Karaoke with Angelica, Isha and Lene. We had a blast. Headed over to Mama's where we played Soul Calibur 4 (Vader SUCKS) and Kuon. I stayed the night.
Rushed home Saturday morning to change and headed right back out to catch the Metro North and head out to the Renaissance Fair up in Tuxedo Park. On the way I was trapped in Tarrytown since apparently the Metro North fucks up if you spit on the tracks. The rain was bad but damn you'd think the train could take. After finally being picked up by Stephanie we made our way to the fair. As soon as we got in I ran into Camacho (one of my supervisors) and his family which was cool. We saw the birds of prey which was a good show involving hawks, condors and falcons. Save a live Chess game with sticks and swords, had a crepe for the first time since Japan, saw a play, enjoyed a jousting match. Overall it was pretty good. We teleported back to Beacon where I stayed over and had a great dinner. Had a pretty good
breakfast the next morning and finally went home. Dan stopped by for some DDR and we took a cute little Sailor Moon quiz posted up on Sailor Moon channel fellow fans who know Japanese should check it out!
Doing well in all my Final Fantasies and I leave for Otakon on Thursday yay!!! I can't wait!
