You Look Ridiculous
I've noticed that a lot of people, and I do too myself, tend to have this manner of talking when they're discussing business stuffs. Specifically, all emotion goes from their speech, they talking a low, monotonous way, and everyone around seems to follow suit.
I've been in and out of meetings the last few days, and now where is it more prevalent than in one of those. I'm starting to think that is why people fall asleep in meetings, especially boring ones.
Ah the wonders of being trying to be professional. :B
On a completely different topic, there's this bus shelter near my house that I walk past every day on my way to the train station. The other week they changed the advertising poster in the shelter to one that was promoting some sort of government cultural diversity program. A worthy cause, I'm sure you'll agree, and I've seen numerous similar posters with slight variations around the city too. Just one small problem with the one near my house...
Whoa, what's that kid been smoking...? o_o Not to be harsh, but I swear that kid stares into my soul every day I go to work. o_.
And on another totally unrelated note, you remember that Flash animation that I was making several years ago? The one that I sorta just abandoned and that vanished into the ether? The one I thought would be awesome but didn't quite work out? The one that was meant to cure cancer and stop global hunger? The one that was- *gets bricked*
Anyway, I found it still kicking around on my hard drive and thought I'd upload it for posterity. And for lulz! mostly for lulz. :D
