Now here's an interesting article that's really worth reading. It's about the portrayal of women in movies, or more specifically, about how it's more interesting when women are portrayed in a more dominant role rather than the usual submissive types. It makes sense if you read it, and a lot of it could probably relate to story and settings in games too.
I think it had some pretty interesting points to it, and it probably explained a bit more why I have a tendency to play female characters in MMOs and the like. b o_O d
