Pfffbwahahahaha! There are many lulz hereHilarious entertainment and good memories both at the same time. \:D/ And I gotta come clean - even though I agreed with just about everything this guy said, I actually didn't mind FFVIII that much. Ooh, if you do, go get a PS3 controller...

I finally got around to it the other day, you can plug them in via USB, install the driver some dude wrote, and it works perfectly! =D

I have to agree though, I always quite like 8, would like to get around to playing 9 though, never really got a chance to finish it.

I heard that some people really bitched about 9 because of something to do with the official guide making people refer to the website or something. Wimps. >:3

Dunno about guides or whatnot, but I found at least the start of it that I managed to play was really nice, kind of a throw-back to a more light-hearted, fun sort of thing, without the attempts at a more realistic world/characters. ^^

But yaw, the controller = teh awesome! =D

The driver is a slight pain to install but it works awesomely... Only one catch, the controller doesn't actually include the USB cable! Stinger fuckers... ><

It's only a standard one though, USB -> Mini-USB, so you've probably got one from a camera or something anyway, I know I had a couple spare.

Obviously it's not that different to those adaptor things that've been around for a while but I've already been through 3 that all just suicided for no reason, and the drivers were always a bit weak for those.

Yeah, I heard from the retrospective they did on GameTrailers that 9 was meant to be a sort of look back at Final Fantasies gone by. :3
Speaking of which, did I return that box of Final Fantasy games to you at some stage? I can't seem to find it in the storage room any more and I seem to have a recollection of giving it back to you. o_O

I've been thinking of maybe getting a 360 controller over a PS3 one. Mostly because they're easier to find, but I also get the impression that driver support for those on a Windows OS would be better. :3 d
