Nino looks at her. His cheek hurts but not as much as what his heart feels. He can see Mia breathing hardly- Trying to control her emotion, but she cant. She has to settle this now. Five weeks had passed- since she runs away from her problems and this is the time where she has to face all those things. She has to. For him.. for her..
She was not ready to face Nino when Satoshi ask her to do so. She needs time but when she is ready to come back to him- that kissing scene is what she got. That’s it! Mia couldn’t control it anymore..
“You are such a jerk! Baka! You are the worst!” Mia curses him while sobbing. “How could you do that? I swear to God- falling in love with you is the biggest, worst, terrible mistake that I have made for the whole of my life. You are..” Mia couldn’t continue it as Nino suddenly takes her hand and pull her in. “What the hell you are doing?” Mia asks him but, too late to protest.
She is already in the house.
The place- that she really miss all this while.
“You are screaming in front of an idol’s house. Remember that!”
“Owh, great! If I’m screaming in front of your house, it will be bad- then- what will happen when you kiss that slut- also in front of your house?”
Mia is so annoyed when Nino didn’t say anything.
He just lean on the wall, didn’t even look at her.
“Answer me!”
Silent.
“All those scandal- changing e-mail with your co-actress, clubbing, changing girls every night. You know how much it hurts me?”
Silent.
“You want to challenge me, did you? You kiss that slut but you still have guts to lay your eye on me, staring at me? What was that?”

“Answer me!”
“Isn’t that is how you look at me, Mia?” He turns to her..

Nino is crying!
“..as a playboy- saying- I love you to anyone that I saw. Making promise to anyone that I meet. Get into a relationship to anyone that I pick?” He answers it in a slow tone.
Mia lost her words.
“..as someone who think that he can make fun of other person’s heart??”
“it is not li..”
“Listen to me first! you say too much before.. and now, listen to me!”
The tone is changing now.
“You are such a good liar, Mia!”
Mia looks at him.
“You said that you fall in love with me.. that you are mine.. you want to get older with me.. but the truth is- you lie!”
“Who said so??”
“Then why did you rather believe others- but not me?”
Silent.
“You believe Masami. You believe those stupid magazines but not me. You even believe in karma but you just don’t believe me.. that is what your sacred love means??”

“When you meet Masami- did you give me a chance to explain everything?”
Silent.
“As simple as that you conclude that I’m confused, lonely and all stupid thought that you made up. Did you know how messed I am at that time? Yes, I’m confused- but when I said that I love you- it means I really do.. but you? You just don’t believe me..”
Mia looks away- as like what Nino did before- crying silently.
Silent for a moment. Taking some deep breath to calm them down.
Few minutes pass. The tension turns slow.
“Then what did you expect me to do, Sir-chan?”Mia asks softly.
Nino looks at her.
“What did you expect me to do when I heard all those things? Do I look like someone who has a heart to continue a relationship with you when I know someone is suffering because of us?”
“Why must we have to care about others, Mia? This relationship is all about us..”
Silent.
“You know what, Mia..”
They look at each other.
“Let end this..”
Mia couldn’t believe what she just heard.
“I can’t see any future for us if you don’t believe me.. we can’t continue this relationship if we have to give priority to others, but not us.. I cant do it anymore..”
“D-do we really have to?”
It takes few seconds before Nino nods. Slowly.
“This will only bring pain to us, Mia..”
Mia closes her eyes. Swallow all the pain that she feels right now. “Y-yeah.. I think that is the best for us..” she has to do it too.
They cry. It’s hurt. Really much.
Pain. Heartbroken. Tears.
They feel it. All. Now.
The happiness that they dream about had crashed into pieces. Memory that they create together are now is part of their history..
~their first meeting, the weird-taste pasta, the bread incident at the convenience store, Mia’s leg’s injury, Mia’s depression, staying with his mother, they started live together, the game, the argument that caused Mia runs away, the toothpaste incident, watching concert together, breakfast together, the cake, the confusion, Nino’s car accident, their first kiss together, making love together, nino’s birthday celebration, moment in the beach and until their separation now.. Everything played again in their memory..
..and that beautiful chapter in their life is now has come to an end~
“I-I have to go..”
She looks down- Controlling her tears.
“Mia..”
She lifts her head. Nino shed her tears but only with his fingers, not with his lips as like what he used to do. It’s hurts her somehow..
He pats Mia’s head gently. “Please be happy, okay?”
She smiles. “You too, sir-chan..”
Mia starts to make a move but suddenly Nino stops her. “Wait!”
She turns around. Looking at his face, for the last time.. “I-I bought something for you from Taipei.. can u take it? I really want to give it to you.. please.. y-you can throw it away if you don’t want it..”
Slowly Mia smiles bitterly and nods.
“Wait for a second.. it is in our ro..umm.. my room..”
Nino heads to his room, leaving Mia at the living room. Mia looks around. This place is not belong to her anymore.. another tears fall down..
Suddenly she notices something.
The television. It’s a.. Mia steps nearing the television and press the remote’s button. Resume. Its their video. Oh, God.. she clamps her mouth with her left hand- Ohh.. she couldn’t believe this. O-Our video??

We are clapping hands together while looking at the cake that I made before. Sir-chan sitting at the edge of the bed, and i standing near him. Whatever will happen, I want to enjoy our last moment together- without any flaws- that is my promise for that day. “Ne,sir-chan.. make a wish, before you blow the candle..”
He smiles and takes me on his laps. His chin rested on my shoulder and he wraps my waist from my back. “My wish? Hmmm…okay..” he closed his eyes and few second later he opened his eye and blew the candle. After he feed me some cake, I turned my body around, facing him. “Tell me.. what you are wishing for?”
“You..”
“Eh?”
“I wish that Nakahara Mia will be blessed for the rest of her life..”
He cupped my face and kissed my forehead. My eyes becomes teary because of the words and his act..“..I wish that she will be given all the happiness that she want.. may God will always accompany her wherever she go, protecting her every second.. all her dreams will come true.. all her sorrow will fade away.. because the one who will cry if she is hurt, is me..”
Mia is sobbing again. Ohh~ “I think there is something wrong in the video.. some of the sound in certain part is kinda shaky. Perhaps I watched it too often.. haha..” Mia wipes her tears and turns around.
Nino is smiling.
“Y-you are watching this- often?”
“I just miss the old us.. but never mind.. ah, kore!”
From far, Nino shows the necklace to her. The pendant is their name- ninoMia- white gold. “NM is for Masami. Not you.. I already gave it back to her.. ah, she invite us to her wedding next month.. hmm.. I guess we have to go separately now..”
“W-wedding?”
Nino nods. “She is a nice girl, so she deserve someone better than me.. so now, it is my turn to cry, i guess.. here, take this..”
Mia drags her steps to him.
“actually, I planned to do some celebration for our one month anniversary and this is your present for that.. but I guess it will not someth…”
Their method still works. The long talk is stop just by a kiss. Mia claims his lips, softly but with all her heart. Nino freezes. Didn’t expect this to be happen. When she feels that Nino didn’t kiss her back, she stops. Break their face apart. “M-Mia..”
“I don’t want to lost you, Sir-chan.. please.. don’t let me go.. I’m sorry for not giving you a chance, I’m sorry for leaving you suddenly, I’m sorry for not believing you, I’m sorry for being selfish..but please.. please.. let’s continue this.. I want to be with you forever, for the rest of my life.. please.. I swear, I will fix everything.. I will believe you no matter what from now on.. but please..”
Nino didn’t say anything.
“I’ll die if I couldn’t see you, I’ll suffer if I couldn’t hear your voice.. please, sir-chan.. don’t do this to me.. I beg you”

“I will stay if you want to. I will fight for this love, if you want to. I will do everything if you give me one more chance.. give us one more chance to try again..”
Still. No words from Nino. He looks away.
They are crying again..the only different is- Mia is sobbing and Nino cries silently. Mia looks at him. She got her answer. “I-I guess i-it is no, right?”
No answer. Just tears.
Mia takes a deep breath. “O-Okay.. I understand.. but for the last time, please.. look at me..” slowly, Nino turns to her. She tip toed so that she can kiss his forehead. Nino closes his eyes. She caresses his face. They look at each other. “Sayonara, Sir-chan..” Mia smiles. Still, with a bitter feelings.
She don’t want to make a move, but she has to.
It is too hard to step out from the house. The house that gives her everything, including a beautiful love story that she shared with him. Mia couldn’t stop her tears.. she takes her bags and drags her feet out from that place..memories replay again.. one by one..
“So you are Nakahara-san’s daughter, Nakahara...Mia? Right?”
