The late Christmas post
I evidently have a 2-week lag when it comes to writing up entries about events/holidays xD
So, Christmas 2012. My first Christmas in my forever-house and the first Christmas since I moved to Texas that I haven't spent alone(aside from my cats). My mom found a way to see all 3 of her kids living in 3 different locations for Christmas. Because I live near a major airport. She spent Christmas Eve with my sister in Lawton, then on Christmas day she drove down to my house and the next morning she flew out of DFW to go see my brother in Washington DC. And flying to DC out of DFW was $300 cheaper than flying out of OKC.
Christmas was the usual cat-toy extravaganza.
And here's what I got:
- Toaster
- Electric Fireplace Log(My house has a fireplace but I was told the chimney makes it unsafe to have a fire in. Now I can have the fire look/sound without the heat or danger of a real fire!)
- Kitchen corner bench & table set(I've actually had this in my kitchen since the middle of November. I picked it out online when my mom was down at my house visiting and then found it on a big sale on the sears website so we ordered it. It was a bitch to assemble by myself though.)
- National Geographic magazine subscription
- Pink & Purple plaid scarf
- Sewing Thread Rack
- Money(from sister)
- Kitty coin bank(from my friend Elizabeth)
- Mary Kay bath set(from Elizabeth)
