Kyaaa, they did another one! X3 Of course I had to gather as much juicy trivia as I can. Enjoy!
- JFX stands for "Japan. Fujisawa. Mysterious Object".
- Tapioca's boyfriend is called Savaran.
- The boys sometimes have fishing trips.
- Whether Yamada is actually Akira's real name is confidential.
- Ayumi wears a lot of pink because Misaki once complimented him.
- In ep6, Yuki didn't do any cooking aside from boiling the noodles.
- Natsuki's "I'll only say this once" catchphrase was something he picked up from Tamotsu.
- Haru's grip is apparently strong enough to break a handgrip dynamometer. The incident was never brought up in the class ever again.
- Natsuki makes sweets (e.g. donuts) for Sakura. He's really into making them fish shaped.
- Yuki keeps forgetting the names of flowers Kate tells hm but it's not like he dislikes them.
- Erika is an only child.
- Natsuki and Erika get along well. They also give little gifts to each other during family gatherings, etc.
- Haru's birthday being on April Fool's is a reference to the the custom in Italy, France and Belgium where they tack paper fishes on each other's back as a trick and shout "April Fish!".
- Coco's skirt can actually store items. That aspect ended up unused in the anime.
- Ayumi calls Misaki with "-san" despite being older because he was once drunk and called her name without any honorifics and she told him off badly for it.
- Yuki has other shirts with fish names besides "Hamachi" (young Japanese amberjack), such as "Sea bass"
- Natsuki keeps up with his running even in America, so he does not gain any weight.
- "Q: What scenes brought the animators to tears? A: Most likely whenever they had to animate the fishing reel." LOL
- If Sakura ever gets a boyfriend, Natsuki would immediately return from America.
- Natsuki likes listening to grunge rock and is the type that prefers Pearl Jam over Nirvana.
- Ayumi likes the colour blue.
- None of the main four are popular in school. Akira believes he's the most popular amongst the four of them but their popularity is about the same.
- Nomura (one of the mob characters) is the most popular guy in the class.
- The girl sitting in front of Erika and the guy sitting to Erika's right (藤田 - Fujita? Nakatani? IDK what's the correct reading) are dating. There's a hilarious moment where Yuichi Takahashi, the one who mentioned this info, made a mistake and accidentally implied that 藤田 was dating the guy sitting in front of him instead. lolololol
- This was brought up before in the last Q&A, but Natsuki is the most popular amongst the female staff.
- Natsuki once let Yuki listen to grunge music but Yuki returned it saying that his ears hurt.
- Akira takes his turban off when he's pissed.
- Akira doesn't approve of Tapioca and Savaran's relationship but does not interfere with them.
- Heihachi has been cracking puns his whole life.
- Haru and Coco never fight because whenever Coco gets angry, Haru still smiles.
- Urara's profile: Height: 181cm, Weight: 58kg, Blood-type: B, Birthday: 27th Feb, Favourite food: wheat based sweets & red broth miso soup.
- Re: The legend of the goddess, there were originally three roles: Lure, guardian & angler but the locals were so good there was no need for the angler who just watched over them.
- Oh, and Haru and Urara's names were taken from Haru Urara. Not sure if it's the Japanese racehorse or the song by Kagrra. Probably the song since the kanji is the same?
