It’s pretty calming. I could hear the waves that keep crashing against the shore clearly. The blue ocean is really beautiful eh..
I looked up to the sky then lift my hand up to block the sunshine. I can feel the sunshine hit slightly on my face through my fingers. It wasn’t really bright. It was really warm. It makes you feel good to sit on a bench under a big green tree staring at the beautiful scenery in front of your eyes.
But it’s not the right time for me to sit here and admiring those sceneries at all. It’s been two days already why am I still sitting here? I should at least go to visit him and not stay here breathing normally act as if nothing happen.
But did you forget, Kei? You shouldn’t go there. Arioka has been staying with him since that incident. You have nothing to worry about him right? He’s safe already. He’s might so happy already that the one he love taking care of him. I can feel that Arioka already has feelings for him. You almost reach your gold Yabu.
I run my fingers and stopped on my left chest. But why do I feel strange? Why do I feel like I don’t want that thing happen? Why do I feel unhappy when think of they will be together soon? Aren’t I the one who always push them to stay together? What’s wrong with you now, Kei? Isn’t it a good thing?
“ Yo! ” I jolted in surprised when suddenly someone taps my shoulder. I turn around. As expected it was Takaki. He smiles cheerfully at me as he sat beside me. This guy…he seems happy all the time, isn’t he?
“ Hi. ” I greeted him softly and smile at him back.
“ What are you doing here? ”
“ Nothing. Look at the blue ocean. Beautiful, isn’t it? ” I said and turn to the ocean before me.
“ Yeah. Dai-chan is not here sabishii na~ ” Takaki said as he stretch his hands lazily.
“ Then why don’t you go to meet him? ” I turn to ask him curiously. Arioka’s at hospital right? He can go to see him anytime deshou?
“ I don’t want to see that brat. ” Does he mean Yabu? “ By the way, don’t you go to take care of your master? ” He frowns at me waiting for the answer.
“ Since Arioka-kun’s with him right now. Why should I go? Let’s leave them alone. ” I grin at him.
“ Your master sure change a lot ne, from a nerdy into an ikemen. ” Takaki said as he rests his chin on his palm.
“ You like him already? ” I asked him teasingly.
“ Baka! Of course not! ” Takaki quickly protest and that make me laugh at his reaction.
“ I’m kidding. ” I stuck my tongue out at him, but then my phone suddenly ringing. I took it out from my pocket see who is the caller. Wait..isn’t it my phone number? So it means Yabu is calling me. But why?
“ Are you sure you just his accompany person? ” Takaki looked at the phone in my right hand.
“ It’s not mine. ” I replied while still staring at the phone screen.
“ Aren’t you going to pick up? ” Takaki asked when he see I’m doing nothing. Should I? I let out a sigh then press answer it.
“ Moshi moshi. ” I answer him softly.
“ Where the hell are you?!!! ” Just when I answer him, he quickly shouted at me. Geez.. I pull the phone away from my ear a bit before he ruins my ear by his voice.
“ I’m at hotel. ” I replied him calmly. Of course I don’t have feeling to argue with him.
“ Come to my room in 5 minutes or you will die. ” Just when he finished his sentence he suddenly hangs up the phone call.
“ Wait!! ” I exclaimed but there is no way he can hear me.
“ What’s wrong? ” Takaki asked. I almost forget that he sit beside me. But 5 minutes? It’s impossible. How come I can reach hospital in 5 minutes? I grab Takaki’’s shirt. “ Takaki, do you know Yabu’s room number? ” I asked him hurriedly. If I wait till I reach hospital then ask the nurse there, it will take too long.
“ Eh?? Eto.. if I’m not mistaken. Dai-chan told me his room is 270. ”
“ Arigatou! ” I bowed to him a bit then quickly stand up and ready to run.
“ Eh! Chotto! What happen? ” Takaki frowns with question mark on his face.
“ Yabu command me to go there in 5 minutes of course I can’t disobey him. So ja ne, Takaki. ” I said to him then quickly run to the hospital. Damn, that guy really childish. Once he recovers he starts to command me again, but why so sudden? Is Arioka busy at the moment can’t take care of him that’s why he call me? But there are many nurses in the hospital right? Or he calls me to punish me for making him stay in hospital? Ughh.. you’re so dead, Kei. Why I didn’t think about it? He’s a devil. Did you forget it?
I don’t know how many minutes I spent till I reach his room. The hospital isn’t that far from the hotel, but it’s not that near either. It really took my energy lots. I can’t even breathe normally now. I stand in front of his room panting for few seconds then quickly hold the door knob and open it.
“ You’re late!!! ” Just when he saw me he quickly yells at me. What the hell?
“ Oh please! Can you please be more reasonable? There is no taxi or bus, and the hospital isn’t that near for me to walk just few steps to reach here! ” I replied to the person who lying on a white bed.
“ Whatever! Where have you been these two days? You left me alone. Is this what you do to your savior? ” He asked and gives me a death glare. Is he fully recovered already?
“ Isn’t Arioka-kun stay with you all the time? ” I question back.
“ Isn’t mom tell you to take care of me? ”
“ Isn’t this good that you can stay with him only the two of you? ” I don’t know what’s going on, but we keep on asking each other. It’s crazy, really.
“ Stop question me back and answer my question! ” I seem to piss him off again. I think I’m good at pissing someone off eh?
“ Fine! Yeah madam told me to take care of you, that’s why I follow you to here, but Arioka-kun has been staying with you all the time. If I come, I will just be a nuisance to you. ”
“ Aren’t you the reason why I ended up in this annoying hospital? The one who take care of me should be you not someone else. Are you trying to avoid your duty? ”
“ I’m not! Fine. What do you want me to do now? ” I looked at him seriously. How come he misunderstands me like that? I didn’t avoid my duty. I wasn’t lazy. I thought I did something good for him, but yet I end up making him mad for no reason.
He suddenly grins evilly at me. I can feel it’s not a good thing.
“ Let’s sneak out of this boring hospital! ”
“ What?!!! ” My eyes open wide with what I just heard. Did I hear it wrong?
“ Stop standing there and get my clothes in the veranda. ”
“ Wait..It’s wrong! You can’t get out of here without doctor’s permission! ” I exclaimed. He’s too childish. Because everyone always gives what he want that’s why he’s so spoiled!
“ Like the hell I care. ” He said as he kicks his blanket to the floor then stand up from the bed.
“ But are you feeling alright now? ” I asked as I look at him who walking toward me.
“ I’m perfectly fine. ”
“ But--- ”
“ Just shut up, will you? ” My mouth shut automatically as he suddenly lean his face close to me till the tip of our nose almost touch.
“ F-Fine. ” I put my hands on his chest then push him away from me. I quickly went to veranda to get his clothes. Ughh..It’s dangerous to my heart. I hope my face won’t grow red. This is not good, Kei.

It’s quite easy to sneak out from this hospital. Since Yabu wears his usual clothes so the nurses that walk across us thought he was a visitor. People in the hospital are stupid, aren’t they? hihihi
“ So what are we going? There is nothing in this island. ” I asked after we get out from the hospital.
“ Who said there is nothing? ” He grins again.
“ Since this is just an island so there is nothing fun than watching the nature, I guess. ”
“ Follow me then. ” He grins once again as he put his hand into his pocket then leading me to somewhere. So I just follow him from behind silently.
I don’t know where we’re going to, but he seems to know this island very well. On the way going to unknown place (for me) we didn’t utter a word. It’s really awkward. It’s not that I don’t want to talk to him. But once we start conversation we always end up argue with each other. I already had enough with this. It’s nonsense, really.
We continue walking and walking, but then I suddenly hear something noisy from behind the mountain. Since I came here, I rarely meet people who live in this island. I heard the staff said that the hotel that we stay is a private hotel it’s for competitors only. That’s why it’s kinda silent.
When I was thinking I feel something touch my hand. I quickly look down to my hand then saw Yabu intertwine his hand with me. Wait!!! I slowly look up to him. What the hell is wrong with him?
“ You sure need to change your bad habit. Stop spacing out when you’re walking. How many times do you want me to repeat this sentence? Do you want to get lost again? ” He’s scolding me like my father. I bite my lower lip since I have no idea to reply him because it’s true that I like spacing out.
Yabu grab my hand and quickly go to the back of the mountain. I wonder what it is. When the more we get closer the noisy is getting louder. Finally we arrived there.
I was a bit surprise with the view before me. There are large crowds of people with every age. The kids hold candy and balloon walk skipping happily. The teenagers are enjoying eating. Adult and elderly people are talking smiling. There are a lot of small shops that sell food, accessories, and many more. It looks like an amusement park, there also have ferris whale although it doesn’t big and tall like in Tokyo. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves so much.
“ They’re village people in this island. ” Yabu who stand beside me said. “ I discovered this village when I came with my family. The other competitors don’t know about this place since the staffs forbidden us not to go far from the hotel. ”
“ So we broke the rule! Let’s go back Yabu! ” I exclaimed. What if the judges stop allow him to continue the competition? And I will die for sure.
“ Like the hell I care. ” He smirked. And I know there is no way I can bring him back. “ I just heard the nurse whisper to each other said that today the village has an event so I want to see what kind of event. Let’s go. ” He said and drag me to the village, but I quickly stop him.
“ Wait! Do we allow joining with them? ” I don’t really get what’s Yabu thinking. To the village people we’re like strangers to them. How come Yabu seems so carefree?
“ Don’t care about them. There are a lot of people who will notice us? Just pretend like we’re the village people. ” After said that he quickly pull me to the crowd.
Like I expected, thing didn’t turn out like what Yabu think. Because of his appearance and also his clothes it was too eye-catchy. Everyone’s attention is on us. I can barely move, but Yabu is opposite to me. He looks carefree even though everyone is watching him.
“ Seems like it doesn’t work. ” I grip the hem of his shirt and whisper to him. But then suddenly a group of girls running toward us, I was so shock so I let go of his shirt automatically. There are around ten teenagers surrounding Yabu, and I was push out from him harshly by some of the girls.
“ Geez..what the heck is happening? ” I mumbled to myself as I careless my left hand that swollen because of these girls push me a while ago.
“ Kyaa!! Kakoii!!! Who are you? ”
“ Why I never seen you here before? ”
“ You’re so handsome. ”
“ Be my boyfriend please!! ”
These girls start to exclaimed excitedly like they never seen a handsome guy before. Teenagers nowadays are too easy eh? How come they being so flirty in public? At least please hold back some of your excitement geez..
“ Don’t.Touch.Me! ” Yabu said firmly to the girls when they start caressing his skin. He pushes them away harshly. Oh my..can you please at least be gentle to them? They are girls!
Yabu walks toward me and drag me to somewhere leave the girls frozen in their place. I bet they might really shock because of Yabu’s sudden action. Like a quote say don’t judge people by their look.
“ These girls what the hell are they doing?! ” He said as he wipes his skin where the girls touch him a while ago. Oh..please..they aren’t virus why do you need to clean that much?
“ I told you already. Look at the way you dress and your appearance too. ” I glared at him. We’re sitting on a bench that doesn’t have a lot of teenagers but kids.
“ Aren’t you the one who choose all these clothes?! ” He immediately protests.
“ But I didn’t told you to wear it in a normal and small village like this! You were just too eye-catchy.. ” The last sentence I said softly hoping he won’t hear it. Kei, why you let yourself admire him once again huh!
“ Whatever! ” He turns his face away. After that we just sit here not saying anything. I noticed him staring at the kids surrounding an old man before us.
“ You want to eat? ” I asked when I see he keep staring at candy floss not blinking.
“ No, it’s dirty. ” His answer really makes me want to slap on his face. How come candy floss dirty? Yappari, he’s a rich brat.
“ Then.Don’t.Stare! ” I said mockingly at him. These things only for normal people just eat your expensive food.
“ Where are you going? ” He asked when he sees I suddenly stand up.
“ If you don’t eat, I eat! ” I replied him then turn around to the old man that smile happily give the candy floss to the kids.
I hold the warm candy floss that I just got then sat beside Yabu. I tear a small piece of candy floss and put into my mouth. Actually, I didn’t buy it to seduce Yabu. I just miss it. I haven’t eaten it for ages. I really miss the taste of this candy floss it reminds me of my childhood time.
When I want to tear another piece suddenly a hand grab it from my hand. I look at Yabu a bit surprise. What the hell? Didn’t he say it’s dirty?
“ I don’t allow you to eat this alone. ” He glares at me then eat my candy floss which now is already he’s.
I looked at him then trying to hold my smile. He’s just too cute. Why don’t you just accept the fact that you want to eat it? Geez..
“ You can’t eat it all! It’s my money. ” I exclaimed then quickly tear a big piece of candy floss before Yabu eat all my candy.
“ Geez..You’re so stingy I will give your money back later. ” Yabu said then stand up afraid I will tear another big piece.
“ No. If you want to eat buy it by yourself. ” I quickly stand up as well.
“ But sorry. What I want I will get it. ” He smirked at me. I immediately hold on to his hand trying to get my candy back. I hate the fact that he’s taller than me! But I won’t lose like last time I will win this time.
We start to fight over a small candy floss. Yabu tries to escape from me. I try to jump as high as possible. It’s childish, really, but I find it fun.
While we were struggling suddenly someone run to bump into me hardly like he wasn’t watching when he’s running. And that make me lost my balance and ready to fall. And like I expected Yabu wasn’t there to help me. He probably wants to laugh at me when I fall so I quickly grab the collarbone of his shirt then pull him to fall together with me on the ground. I won’t let what you want happen.
But! God! You’ve gotta be kidding me! I swear! I didn’t want thing turn out like that! I want him to fell on the ground but not my body and my lips!
I think I made a wrong move. I shouldn’t pull him. I have a bad mind that’s why I ended up losing my first kiss to this arrogant brat.
I stare at Yabu’s eyes then quickly push him and stand up, but I don’t even stand up properly Yabu suddenly speak up, “ You kissed me! ”
My jaw dropped. Isn’t that a sentence that I supposed to say?
“ Wait! You see right, that person bump into me. I didn’t want to kiss you. ” I quickly protested.
“ You did it on purpose. ” He’s still being stubborn as always.
“ What?! No! I didn-- ”
“ I will punish you for stealing my kiss. ” I don’t even let out another word to protest. Yabu suddenly walk closer to me and cup my face then press his lips against mine. My eyes open wide because of shocking. What the hell is he doing? Kissing me? Is he out of his mind? Or he just daydream me as Arioka?
I don’t know how many minutes have passed. But it seems like forever to me. It’s so sweet inside my mouth because of the candy floss that we just eat. It makes my body become so weak like it’s about to floating anytime. But suddenly I feel like I’m about to out of my breath. Yabu let go of my face when he notices that I hardly breathe. I stared at him for couple minutes without saying anything. I’m still shock I can’t manage to let out a word. It’s just so sudden. I don’t know why he suddenly kisses me. I have so many questions in my head that can’t let it out.
“ Kota!! ” But while we keep staring at each other suddenly a familiar voice shout from a place where not so far from us.
Yabu and I turn to the same direction to find the source. And I was so surprise to see that person here.
“ Dai-chan? ”

“ Like the hell I care. ” He smirked. And I know there is no way I can bring him back. “ I just heard the nurse whisper to each other said that today the village has an event so I want to see what kind of event. Let’s go. ” He said and drag me to the village, but I quickly stop him.
“ Wait! Do we allow joining with them? ” I don’t really get what’s Yabu thinking. To the village people we’re like strangers to them. How come Yabu seems so carefree?
“ Don’t care about them. There are a lot of people who will notice us? Just pretend like we’re the village people. ” After said that he quickly pull me to the crowd.
Like I expected, thing didn’t turn out like what Yabu think. Because of his appearance and also his clothes it was too eye-catchy. Everyone’s attention is on us. I can barely move, but Yabu is opposite to me. He looks carefree even though everyone is watching him.
“ Seems like it doesn’t work. ” I grip the hem of his shirt and whisper to him. But then suddenly a group of girls running toward us, I was so shock so I let go of his shirt automatically. There are around ten teenagers surrounding Yabu, and I was push out from him harshly by some of the girls.
“ Geez..what the heck is happening? ” I mumbled to myself as I careless my left hand that swollen because of these girls push me a while ago.
“ Kyaa!! Kakoii!!! Who are you? ”
“ Why I never seen you here before? ”
“ You’re so handsome. ”
“ Be my boyfriend please!! ”
These girls start to exclaimed excitedly like they never seen a handsome guy before. Teenagers nowadays are too easy eh? How come they being so flirty in public? At least please hold back some of your excitement geez..
“ Don’t.Touch.Me! ” Yabu said firmly to the girls when they start caressing his skin. He pushes them away harshly. Oh my..can you please at least be gentle to them? They are girls!
Yabu walks toward me and drag me to somewhere leave the girls frozen in their place. I bet they might really shock because of Yabu’s sudden action. Like a quote say don’t judge people by their look.
“ These girls what the hell are they doing?! ” He said as he wipes his skin where the girls touch him a while ago. Oh..please..they aren’t virus why do you need to clean that much?
“ I told you already. Look at the way you dress and your appearance too. ” I glared at him. We’re sitting on a bench that doesn’t have a lot of teenagers but kids.
“ Aren’t you the one who choose all these clothes?! ” He immediately protests.
“ But I didn’t told you to wear it in a normal and small village like this! You were just too eye-catchy.. ” The last sentence I said softly hoping he won’t hear it. Kei, why you let yourself admire him once again huh!
“ Whatever! ” He turns his face away. After that we just sit here not saying anything. I noticed him staring at the kids surrounding an old man before us.
“ You want to eat? ” I asked when I see he keep staring at candy floss not blinking.
“ No, it’s dirty. ” His answer really makes me want to slap on his face. How come candy floss dirty? Yappari, he’s a rich brat.
“ Then.Don’t.Stare! ” I said mockingly at him. These things only for normal people just eat your expensive food.
“ Where are you going? ” He asked when he sees I suddenly stand up.
“ If you don’t eat, I eat! ” I replied him then turn around to the old man that smile happily give the candy floss to the kids.
I hold the warm candy floss that I just got then sat beside Yabu. I tear a small piece of candy floss and put into my mouth. Actually, I didn’t buy it to seduce Yabu. I just miss it. I haven’t eaten it for ages. I really miss the taste of this candy floss it reminds me of my childhood time.
When I want to tear another piece suddenly a hand grab it from my hand. I look at Yabu a bit surprise. What the hell? Didn’t he say it’s dirty?
“ I don’t allow you to eat this alone. ” He glares at me then eat my candy floss which now is already he’s.
I looked at him then trying to hold my smile. He’s just too cute. Why don’t you just accept the fact that you want to eat it? Geez..
“ You can’t eat it all! It’s my money. ” I exclaimed then quickly tear a big piece of candy floss before Yabu eat all my candy.
“ Geez..You’re so stingy I will give your money back later. ” Yabu said then stand up afraid I will tear another big piece.
“ No. If you want to eat buy it by yourself. ” I quickly stand up as well.
“ But sorry. What I want I will get it. ” He smirked at me. I immediately hold on to his hand trying to get my candy back. I hate the fact that he’s taller than me! But I won’t lose like last time I will win this time.
We start to fight over a small candy floss. Yabu tries to escape from me. I try to jump as high as possible. It’s childish, really, but I find it fun.
While we were struggling suddenly someone run to bump into me hardly like he wasn’t watching when he’s running. And that make me lost my balance and ready to fall. And like I expected Yabu wasn’t there to help me. He probably wants to laugh at me when I fall so I quickly grab the collarbone of his shirt then pull him to fall together with me on the ground. I won’t let what you want happen.
But! God! You’ve gotta be kidding me! I swear! I didn’t want thing turn out like that! I want him to fell on the ground but not my body and my lips!
I think I made a wrong move. I shouldn’t pull him. I have a bad mind that’s why I ended up losing my first kiss to this arrogant brat.
I stare at Yabu’s eyes then quickly push him and stand up, but I don’t even stand up properly Yabu suddenly speak up, “ You kissed me! ”
My jaw dropped. Isn’t that a sentence that I supposed to say?
“ Wait! You see right, that person bump into me. I didn’t want to kiss you. ” I quickly protested.
“ You did it on purpose. ” He’s still being stubborn as always.
“ What?! No! I didn-- ”
“ I will punish you for stealing my kiss. ” I don’t even let out another word to protest. Yabu suddenly walk closer to me and cup my face then press his lips against mine. My eyes open wide because of shocking. What the hell is he doing? Kissing me? Is he out of his mind? Or he just daydream me as Arioka?
I don’t know how many minutes have passed. But it seems like forever to me. It’s so sweet inside my mouth because of the candy floss that we just eat. It makes my body become so weak like it’s about to floating anytime. But suddenly I feel like I’m about to out of my breath. Yabu let go of my face when he notices that I hardly breathe. I stared at him for couple minutes without saying anything. I’m still shock I can’t manage to let out a word. It’s just so sudden. I don’t know why he suddenly kisses me. I have so many questions in my head that can’t let it out.
“ Kota!! ” But while we keep staring at each other suddenly a familiar voice shout from a place where not so far from us.
Yabu and I turn to the same direction to find the source. And I was so surprise to see that person here.
“ Dai-chan? ”
