I'm back

Well, I finally decided to update. Alot has changed since I last wrote, but I'll try to keep this entry fairly short. So, I don't even know where to start... ummm... About a month ago I got back together with my girlfriend (we had been going out for 2 years, then we broke up), and things are going great there, it sucks being in waterloo and not being able to see her everyday. She is going to Durham college for ECE. Another big change is that I changed programs, I'm now in Kinesiology after doing 2 years of chemistry. I'm still doing a minor in chemistry. So far the switch has been great, I'm really enjoying the Kinesiology program and I think that the decision to switch was a good one. One bonus of being in Kinesiology is that it seems that's where all the hot girls at Waterloo are hiding. The girls far outnumber the guys in my classes, and that's something i'm not used to, cuz it was completey opposite in chemistry. This is my first year living off campus. I was originally supposed to be living with rodney, jon, jian, galean and keith in a house, me, galean and keith got screwed over in that, i don't even really want to talk about that, lol. So anyways, i ended up living in a house with totally random people. It's been alright though, they are all very nice, the only problem is that they are very messy and dirty. I'm not exactly the neatest person or anything, but compared to these guys I'm a neat freak. They leave their empty michellina's containers sitting in the living room for days, empty pizza boxes and they don't do thier dishes. I can understand if you don't do your dishes right after using them, but there have been dishes sitting there for almost 2 weeks now. I always do my dishes right after i use them, unless i have to rush to class in which case i do them as soon as i get back. But yesterday we found maggots in our kitchen, under a pizza box that had been there for who knows how long, and i'm sure leaving dirty dishes there for weeks can't help that situation. Then this morning i went into the living room after i woke up and found MY peanut butter sitting on the table, with no lid on or anything. Now, i'm ok with them using my peanut butter, i told them they could use my stuff, but when they leave it sitting open in the living room that just pisses me off. especially with the maggots we had, i have no idea how long it was out for or how many microscopic bugs and bacteria are now in there, but i'm kind of afraid to eat it. Now, i'm not a very assertive person, so i'm not gonna tell them to clean up or anything, but i've been trying to leave subtle hints, which havn't really been working. Like the other day, after i did my dishes i left the dish water in the sink and put some of thier dishes into the water, thinking that maybe they would see that and say "Hey, the waters already in there, maybe i can just give those a quick wash", but of course that did nothing, just sat for a day. But with the peanut butter thing, i don't want my food being left out and going bad, so i have duct taped a note to it that says "If you use this, please remember to put the lid back on and put back in cupboard". anyways, that's my rant about my dirty housemates for now. oh the other thing is that they are both smokers, and they smoke in the house, using empty water bottles for an ash tray. and it's not just cigarettes they smoke, they have definitley been smoking pot in here too. I can't wait till the winter term when i get to live with clean people! I think i'll probably be the messiest one in that house. And i imagine nicole will make up a nice little chore chart, so the place will actually stay clean. Anyways, this is much too long already, so I'll end it here, and if there is anything more to update on i will do it another time.
