“Goal. Finally.” Ninomiya Kazunari murmured to himself, absent-mindedly. Nino rarely noticed he talked to himself when playing games, and after one hour and 27 minutes of painful silence, Nino finally won a match against the opposing team in his soccer game housed in the little screen of his Nintendo DS. But not just any match. Nino had set it to the hardest possible difficulty.

He stretched languidly, finally taking his eyes off the little moving characters in the game that were having their own celebration on the small screen, and he looked around the dressing room with a sense of satisfaction,

“Aiba-chan, did you see me win- Eh? Aiba-chan?”

He got up, DS in his right hand, and crossed his arms over his chest. When did he leave? He shrugged and began to sit down, automatically inputting his initials into the game for a high score as he did so, but then stopped himself short. What time is it? He glanced at the watch on his DS- 7:37pm. Nino’s eyes widened.

“Ah! I’m supposed to make dinner for Captain today!”

In a rush only seen on the most dedicated of athletes he blasted out the door and through the hall almost stampeding down one of his band mates with two bowls of curry in his hands.

“Gomen, Aiba-chan!” yelled Nino over his shoulder.

“What’s the rush, Nino?” Aiba Masaki called after him, finally regaining his balance and luckily not dropping the heated dishes.

“Dinner! Captain!” Nino said as he turned the corner.

“More curry for me then!” Aiba said with glee.

Nino distinctly remembered Aiba saying something about homemade curry and eating together earlier. But Nino was much too far to stop now. Gah! Captain and I were supposed to play games together too, tonight!

He ran by Sakurai Sho who was just walking out of a door and who had to slam himself flat against the wall to avoid being trampled by his good friend.

“Oi! Are you late again? That’s really irresponsible!” Sho yelled in bemusement as Nino ran by him.

“We were supposed to play games tonight!” Nino responded without slowing. He jumped down a flight of stairs.

“Say ‘hi’ to Captain for me!” Sho continued, cheekily.

Nino kept running down the steps in a rush and through the exit into the last stretch of hall and narrowly dodged Matsumoto Jun who was flipping through a script. Jun’s just-out-of-the-shower hair reminded Nino of another task he was supposed to do.

“Excuse me, Jun, have to bathe with Captain!” Nino yelled as he pulled open the door and ran out of Johnny’s Entertainment headquarters.

Jun watched him leave and rose an eyebrow. “If the fangirls heard that…” he murmured with a chuckle as the door slammed shut.

Nino was in front of his apartment door, and fumbled with his keys as he rushed to open them. When he finally opened the door with a shove of his shoulder he was greeted with a completely unlit room, and silence. Weird…

He whistled.

No response.

He sighed and placed his jacket and DS on the counter before he flipped some lights on. Suddenly, a small figure came running toward him. Nino grinned and leaned down to rub its head affectionately.

“Haru-chan!” He said, laughing a little as the dog licked his face. “Where’s Captain, hm?” He asked the small canine.

The dog barked approvingly and then scampered away into his bedroom. Nino rose an eyebrow. “In the bedroom?” He followed after her, a cheeky grin gracing his lips. “Oi, Captain, if you’re on my bed again…”

He trailed off, and placed his hands on his hips in pretend disapproval when he reached his room’s doorframe.

There, on his bed, with cute floppy ears and a rather confused expression, was Captain.

“Captain-kun!” He said with a raised accusatory finger, “You didn’t even bathe yet! You’re on my bed!”

Captain, Nino’s new puppy, continued to look a little out of it. Nino chuckled and he scooped the pup up in his hands. He kissed Captain on the top of his head,

“You’re just like your real life counterpart, you know that?”
To that, Captain barked in agreement. Nino smiled.

KYAAAAAAAAAAAA! OHMIYA SK!

LOL, I love Jun's line the most because fans really did hear about Nino bathing with "Captain", that would be kind of scandalous. Nino's not really into the whole Ohmiya thing, I guess.

After my first reading, I thought..."Captain-kun"? And then I read that it was a puppy. You definitely fooled me there! xDD

I think you totally captured Nino's personality. <333

Thank you sooooooo much! ^__^

Yes. I really, really like Ohmiya. It's moments like these were Aiba gets bumped back to third and Ohno sidles up to second where he belongs next to Nino. <3

I'm glad I tricked you. ^_^ I wanted it to be pretty suggestive. <.< Haha.

Thank you for requesting and I'm glad you enjoyed it. This was refreshing (and weird to not write "Inoue Mao" anywhere).
