Perhaps one of the best, most complete games I've seen the Wolfpack play in years.  But, then again, we do always seem to have FSU's number.  Probably a combination of Chuck coming from there, and a lot of guys from the two teams playing together in high school / growing up.  They really do always get pumped up for it.  I think Chuck is 4-3 against FSU and that's the 5 win for state since they joined the ACC.  By far the most of any other ACC team.

Last week we found ourselves a QB.  This week we found ourselves an OL.  After settling in, the OL definitely gave Evans great protection that State QB's haven't had in years.  All the receivers (including a Freshman seeing his first bit of playing time) made amazing catches all night.  That opened up a dominating running game.  And the defense played their hearts out, bending a few times, but not breaking.  The team played so well, we didn't have to see Derany on the field as much as the first few games of the season.

That's 2 ranked teams in a row now with another 2 in the horizon.  It is early in the season, but a few more games like last night, and we're right in the running for the ACC Championship game.  The BC game gave us good exposure to a number of recruits, but this game is even better national exposure.  The crowd was rowdy and pretty full for a mid-week night game, and it's a good showcase for excellent facilities State has.  Then there was former State, NFL stars on the sidelines.  There aren't many teams in the country that can beat FSU as consistently as State does.

Oh, the tomahawk chant at the end of the game was pretty cool too.
