have you ever woken up from a dream crying?

last night i cried
in my dreams
in my sleep
in my awakening state.

what caused so much hurt?
what caused so much pain?
what caused so much sadness in my heart?

i asked my father for help
but he said no
sold for a beat up
yellow volkswagon bug.

where are they taking me?
i don't want to go back
i hate that place
it's everything that is evil

why can't i ditch these 2
and go on my own?
why are we still connected
when there's no connection?

so many questions
but never enough answers
