"Concerned" is a webcomix base on Half Life 2. What's really cool is it uses in-game assets to create the content. I've seen hack jobs comix in game magazines using screenshots of game characters before but what sets this apart is the quality. It's really well done and I think it's good enough even for print. =D
Using Gary's Mod, anyone can take anything from HL2, DoD and CSS then pose them in any way. Cameras can be place anywhere and there is a ton of characters, props, enviorments, etc. The character expression system really shines here.. even more than the game itself. Just like posing the character, faces can be pose in all sorts of ways.
I hope to see a lot more of these kinds of comics in the future. It still has it's rough edges but it made a ton of progress since the hack job game magazine days. It's still in it's infancy.. let it grow! =D
