So yeah, I didn't post this sooner because it happened on March 31 and no one would have believed me then.

I was hit by a car while walking. Nothing serious, the car just grazed my shoulder and left a minor bruise, but that's not the whole story.
See, I was walking across the crosswalk, not jaywalking, and there was a chick riding her bike in the opposite direction. Her shoe fell off in the middle of the intersection and I knelt down to pick it up because I was right there. When I went to get up, the car ran the red light and got my shoulder, spinning me around. I roared and yelled at the car, which might be why it didn't stop, it hit the brakes but kept going once I started yelling at it, and I don't blame him. If I saw a giant in my rear-view mirror screaming every curse in the book at me, I wouldn't stop either. I handed the lady her shoe, she asked if I was ok, I was, she made some cinderella comment and I quipped back that cinderella wasn't being attacked by 2000 lbs of steel and we parted ways as the light was about to change.

See, that wouldn't have been so bad, except for 3 factors.

1. This was my shoulder that was recently kicked and dislocated by a horse, and if it dislocates again i'll have to have surgery to tighten the tendons. and without health insurance that's BAD.

2. I was on my way to work and I couldn't go to the clinic to get my shoulder looked at, which turned out to be no big deal, I told my boss about it and he offered me the day off, which I declined, I needed the money more than the rest.

3. After work I had a calculus exam. 'Nuff said.

So yeah, April fools on me. Huzzah!
