Library tour part 2....
After annoying grumpy computer man at toorak-south yarra library some more my computer time was up so I went and had a look at the books...I ended up borrowing 2 books on japanese becuase they had no music books or manga. Their books were kind of scummy looking but still better than frankston libary. They also had an intersting thing going on for the month that you could donate non perishable food instead of library fines...no the libarians were not starving, it was going to a charity(but i cant remember which one). I thought that was a great idea! I wonder if anyone from my library has heard about it..tl ill definatly mention it tomorrow...After that I then headed back into the city and went to City Library...
It was very fancy and confusing and multileveled...but they had a piano! And someone was playing the piano and they sounded really good! It was very crowded and I had to wait a very very long time to be joined up.
I think the layout of the libary was a bit...artistic.
But they had manga! But no music books...today anyway...I ended up with phoenix, demon diary and princess ai. I was going to go on the computers but was too confused...you had to use a catalogue computer and book time and made sure you had the right branch etc etc...so after getting my manga I went to minotaur...to buy more?
Much to my surprise the next volume (12) of tsubasa was there..so I immediatly grabbed that and then saw that they had english versions of Clamp No Kiseki...so I bought volume 3, which was tokyo babylon...it came with a very cute subaru figure and two mokonas...also cute~^^~...the other ones there were ones that I wasnt particularly interested in such as angelic layer..it did come with a seishirou figure but it was not right looking...i can't decide whether he looked more like a mobster or a pimp...and the other figure was misaki from angelic layer.....not terribly exciting and i already have the mokona figures)...the other ones were series i hadnt read such as clover and clamp school detective....mind you i do want to read those ones too! I want the xxxholic/legal drug volume! It has a figure of fye, yuuko and another mokona. My irritation was increased as I was phoned up again to see if I could work...but becuase I had already been phoned up that morning I naturally assumed i wouldnt be asked again so I stayed in the city and went on my library tour...it was only 3 hours at pakeham...so no great loss but thats not the point
I pretty much went home after that becuase I was bored and Jeb ended up not coming to the city.
I have just cleaned out my email inbox, deleting approximately 800 emails...the earliest being from early 2004...and i discovered that I already had a livejournal account among other things....imagined-one (it is very exciting stuff i posted too...nai! I am attempting to clean but its not working becaused im quite obvoiusly not cleaning if im posting...and now im going to draw jeb a picture becuase she asked me to...and its more interesting than cleaning.
