Ahhh Jetstar you tease me! Sending me emails while I'm sitting here trying to work on assignments and not get distracted, telling me that right now I can get super cheap, 2 for the price of one airfares to Japan...2 return fares from Melbourne would be $700 ;_;
So now that I'm distracted, I'll...XD well actually I'm really quite boring of late, It's been pretty much uni/work/uni/i want sleep/uni/work, though thank god, this week is the last week of research methods, which was run as a four week intensive...so I can breathe and actually think now...theres been a lot of drawing and not much notes for those classes, they've been so interesting and all. I won't spam you(haha I save it all for
engwanoviel) well, not too much anyway, I did finish a coloured drawing, and post some photos to DA, so

deviantART I've recently discovered Ai no Kusabi^^. I watched the OVAs last week, and while they are OLD and the art style...hmmm...shows the age to put it nicely, it was interesting, though I didn't quite get all the details until I'd read an introduction/synopsis on another website. The OVAs were based off novels, and I think the makers assumed that people watching the OVA would already kind of know what's going on. So now I've been reading translations of the novels(though apparently you can buy them in English), which is more distraction I shouldn't indulge in. There's also appently a 13 episode remake coming out sometime soon, so I'm looking forward to that =D
I am slightly troubled though, I feel there are similarities in Ai no Kusabi and what I've been writing/drawing, though that could just come from trying to create a BL story in a science fiction setting? Though, Ai no Kusabi is an complete angst-fest(in the best possible way =p), and what I'm trying to do is a lot more positive...ahh I should just stop thinking about it, and get on with it. I've written about 40,000 words now, I used up my 3rd notebook last night. I've been doing my writing on the train to uni mostly. What I have is a mess, but I need to get to the end before I can fix it up I think. I wonder how this word count translates to drawn pages^^;;;
At least I can't disract myself with cosplay yet...my mother needs to borrow my sewing machine for awhile...and my netbook won't install the Umineko no naku kori ni game, which I bought in while I was in Japan(I'm in love with the soundtrack, I really want to play the sound novel dammit) so thats a second source of distaction gone... I need a computer that's not a netbook ;_;. At the moment I'm using it with a TV screen and a keyboard, it was just too hard trying to do assignments on that little screen and keyboard. So it feels like I'm using a desktop, but really I'm not. IU'll probably buy a desktop when I actually have money, which, coming back from a 2 month holiday overseas, I have not much of...ah I really should get back to work. Sorry for the random spazz^^;;, I'll hopefully be able to post something more intersting soon
