Hey look it's the pope!
Yosh! I had Armageddon Expo yesterday, and now, I just have to finish this last assignment, and study for exams! I have a week...hey let's go to the beach again!
Armageddon Expo is one of those 'pop culture' expos, so we were sharing space with sci fi nerds and Twilight fangirls D= Seriously, there was at least 2 and a half stalls devoted entirely to Twilight merchandise, or 'pay moneys and you can try on these twilight costumes' ;_;. There wasn't a great deal of anime merchandise, which is probably a good thing, I need to save so badly...didn't stop me buying some Hetalia figurines though...anyway...
I was wearing the bishop!Subaru cosplay again, due to lack of time. I met smamy and shelbelly among others on the train. When your company includes a bishop, an undertaker, people in goth/punk dress and kimono/hakama, you get the stares and confused little children =3. We probably scarred the other passengers for life, the discussion was mostly about yaoi...oh and the brain breaking live-action Smurf porn smamy found on the internet...I wish I was joking about the smurf porn, I really do
My pictures are generally quite bad, the lighting in the Exhibition centre was not good...

Nausicaa! Her plushie was soooooo cute!
Ciel...she was sad because she didn't have a Sebastian. I really should watch/read more of Kuroshitsuji
XD this character gave me nightmares when I was a small child, I think Sleeping Beauty was probably the only Disney movie we never owned.
Maybe I'm just strange but this made me go wtf a little...Fanservice requires a content rating nao?
For lunch we ended up wandering into Crown Casino... I really must give credit to the KFC girl for keeping a straight face while serving us. Her co-workers certainly didn't. And nor did this really rude lady who asked us what on earth we were doing.

It's doodleman again! Properly known as Devon, shelbelly made him! I just happened to be sitting at the right angle for such a suss shot.
I think I lost count of how many times I heard someone say "hey look its the pope!" Trying to explain this cosplay to people who aren't anime/manga fans is a little bit annoying.
Normally, at these expos, people line up and pay moneys to have their photo taken with celebrities. However, in our case, the celebrity wanted to have his photo taken with us! We were about the leave for the day, and were heading out the door, when this guy guy just rabdomly jumps behind us and asks for a photo. I found out later that the random man was Seth Green. ^^; I really don't keep up with TV/celebrities, so I had no idea XD
The Connex ticket inspector at the train station also amused me greatly. I was going through the ticket barrier and this cheerful Indian man starts yelling "Pope John Paul! God bless you!". It's a nice change from the normal grumpy "Ticket. Concession Card."
Fun times, but alas, I really should go now and try and do at least a little more of this assignment before bed.
