Random meetings in Tokyo continue...

I've never been to a nightclub before, or really even had an interest in that sort of thing, but I did have fun last night. I got dragged out to a nightclub in Shibuya, with Michael, some French girls who happen to be staying in the same hostel, and a Israeli guy we just happened to meet on the train that way on the way to Harajuku that morning. It was all completely unplanned. Much like on Saturday, we just randomly met people and stuff happened.

Cosplayers in Harajuku were awesome, and there were also many crazy buskers in Yoyogi park. Go to Harajuku on a Sunday! I also found a stall in which kimono and obi were being sold really cheaply. I bought another kimono and obi. Sigh, if only I had more money and wouldn't exceed my luggage weight limits, then I'd probably go nuts on more books and kimonos.

After dinner we met Israeli guy again, got to Shibuya and met the French girls and walked around trying to find places to go. Many random people got asked where cheap bars and clubs were, and because Japanese people are always so nice we got lead to many places. We ended up at a place called Club Asia, and had crazy fun times dancing like spazzes.

We knew that we would miss the trains(last train is at 12.30pm) but the plan was that we would just crash at a manga cafe until the trains started again. We didn't end up needing to do so, buy the time we got out, it was 4.30 and by the time we got to the station, trains would be running again. It was also raining and realing cold!

I woke up at about 11, and had no plan, so I pretty much just got on the loop line and picked a destination from the guidebook while on the train. I ended up in Ebisu, because the book said it had nice gardens. It sounded relaxing at any rate. It would have been a really nice place if it was sunny, but it was still raining. I still enjoyed myself, if just for the fact I was wandering around And then I got lost and walked for ages trying to find a train station so I could get back.

Was really tired when I got back, so I bummed around on the computer on msn and did memes. Then had food, and suddenly feel a little more energetic~

And on the tv is Brokeback Mountain. I can't help but find that ironic...I'm in Japan watching a Western movie full of gay angst, which has Japanese subs, rather than being in Australia watching a Japanese anime with gay angst that has English subs. And just about everyone in the room comes from Melbourne. And if they don't come from Melbourne, they're from other parts of Australia.

Australia is taking over Japan =3 At pretty much every hostel I've stayed at most of the people have been fellow Australians. Blame summer holidays and cheap flights?

XD who knows what will happen tommorrow. Everytime I make a plan, something happens...

I'm sorry I couldn't resist the subject heading^^;

sleep deprivation is a wonderful thing, yes it is random, tokyo, japan
