My music died!
I had purchased this cheap little mp3 player for work. It was perfect! I spend most of my day operating a very noisy piece of machinery, and my player provided me comfort and companionship while isolated by the high noise levels.
yes, I am aware of just how sad that sounds.
The other day I picked it up and pressed the power button.........nothing happened! It was completely dead! Gone were the songs that filled my day! The distractions that helped me hold onto what tattered shreds of sanity I still have! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO!!!!!?????
Oh. Computer geeks has a nice player for sale. Twice the memory, same price. Hey look! It has a FM tuner, also! It takes voice recording in .wav format! It has a sd slot and can handle a 512 meg card! It can even record form the radio directly into the unit's memory! This is awesome! Hopefully by midweek I will have it!!

In other news: my stinking temporary crown keeps popping off! I have a week before an extraction, and then they can put the permanent crown on. Till then, I apparently will have to go back to the dentist every couple of days to get this friggin thing put back on!!!!
