I wish whoever came up with weekends made them 3 days instead of 2. Or maybe whoever came up with weeks made them 8 days long with a 3 day weekend

I don't have class on Fridays this semester...so I essentially have 3 day weekends every week.

But yes, I wish that vacations and time-off were valued here as much as they are in, say, Germany.
Some professions there even have three hour long lunch breaks.

I have long promoted the idea of a 30 hour work week, which just seems so much more human.
3 day weekends would work too.
I'm all caffeinated and exhausted at the moment. My day off didn't prove all that restful, natch, and I was up late.
