*points to title* That is the most interesting thing to see when walking around a dollar store. I about busted out laughing when I saw it yesterday.
So apparently I haven't updated in 13 weeks according to LJ's little counter. Plenty has happened in the last 13 weeks, but I'll just cover the important parts.
At the beginning of the month I moved out of my Mom's house into an apartment with
chibimizutenshi . We have a 1 bedroom place in Waukegan. We have been living here now for 2 weeks and so far everything is going great. The only complaint I have so far is the dryer eating $2.00 in quarters. See here for pics of the apartment, and here for pics of our new spiffy coffee table.
Last weekend I hung out with
murrayandcully and
jedimeg16 on Saturday af Murray's Mom's house for their housewarming party thing and at their apartment afterwards with them and Andy and his Megan. Sunday Amy and I helped Todd and Becca, along with Brian and KC move stuff from Becca;s mom;s house to their place. The crowning achievement of the day was getting the treadmill up the slim winding staircase that leads to their apartment. I'm still not sure how the 4 of us managed to get it upstairs, but it worked out somehow. Sunday night I got my first experience with the Nintendo Wii. Mario Strikers is a pretty entertaining game, and I think will be added to my wish list once I get the money to be able to get a Wii.
Last night Amy and I spent an hour of our time sitting and watching silly little science experiments on krampf.com/.
Other activities of interest were the trip to the Bristol Ren Fair the second weekend of July, and finished more school. I have 2 semesters left and then I'm all done with my Electronics/Information Technology degree. Mountain Dew has also come out with a new limited edition flavor for Halo 3. It's pretty damn yummy, and kinda reminds me of a liquid form of gummy bears.
If I think of anything else to add I'll either edit this or make a new post. maybe.
