I GOT A NEW JOB! I'm cleaning rich people's houses for almost 10 bucks an hour! Yeah, I'm pumped.
At any rate I'm sure some people want results from the game. Firstly I forgot to hand out my weekly awards for last week's game. Here they go.
Play of the Game - The last minute deep post from Mike to Jaime. That was a clutch catch Mr. Nutter and it kept us alive and allowed us to score the game winning TD. Well done bro, well done.
MVP - This one def. goes to Starting QB/Strong Safety Mike Pottle. He had a flawless game at QB nailing some crucial deep balls. And his two picks from the Safety position really sealed the deal for him as far as the voting goes. Nice job dude.
Onto this week....
Vipers v. Panthers
Highlights
- On the Panthers' opening drive, their QB looked for a quick hok route connection to some randomg guy in sweatpants and a black t-shirt. However, Niko "Money" Manyati had it sniffed out like a Bloodhound and jumped the route. One quick juke move and he was jogging his interception back for a TD.
- On their second drive, Nick again shows his prowess on defense when he sacks the QB (by sack I mean pulls his flag) in the endzone chalkin up 2 more points for us. This kid is unstoppable.
- The Panthers again have the ball. This time a short dump off gets bobbled by the center and ends up in my hands. That's a +2 AWR, right boys?
- On what originally seems a busted play, Mike dumps the ball over the secondary of the Panthers and into my waiting hands. Another TD for the Vipers.
- Nick AGAIn makes a great heads up play and catches an Overthrown Panthers pass. 2 INTs for the Free Safety!
- At the end of the half, I manage to get a hand up and knock down a crucial end zone jump ball to keep the Panthers at a healthy score of "0".
Halftime Score: Vipers(14) v. Panthers(0)
- Ryan catches a nice pass, then squeaks by a defender before carting the rest of the field and scoring our third TD of the game. Mike to me for the one point conversion.
- Panthers launch a jump ball that one of their receivers comes down with. Just narrowly missing it was Jaime Nutter. Good effort bro.
- Nick makes the Panthers secondary look like fools and calls his own LOOOOONG TD catch. nice toss by Mike again. Just unbelievable let me tell ya. Mike to Ryan for the one point conversion.
- Shane catches a dump off on the pre-designed "Shane Lovett Super Screen". He rumbles ahead for a few before crashind down hard. Shane also played Cornerback for some of the game too and made some nice flag pulls. Good game for the big guy!
- Jaime Nutter catches a short pass and takes it about 3 inches from the goal line. If we scored TDs based on effort this kid would be leading the team. he's got heart folks.

Big win for us! We've got the Vanilla Thunder this week at 4PM. Same place folks, come support us! And thanks to Shawna and Sarah for being there again you guys are awesome. Thanks to nick's parents for coming and no thanks to my dad for backing out.
But thanks most of all to Aimee Lorraine Dumas, my sweetheart. She is the most loving and supportive girl i've ever known and I wonder everyday how I won her over. I love you baby, thank you for being there :-). <3
