Okay, maybe not. I didn't know the ants were down there, too. I'll just... maybe go get some food or something.

Hmph. I have also been made aware of these creatures' amazing propensity for killing. It would seem that the residents have no.. [long tapping of the pen forms an odd set of pecks in the paper]

They do not have a champion to protect them.

I was trying to go get my cat, and one of them bit my ankle and it got all swollen.

That will happen with insect bites.

Well, yeah. But that was just one bite. I'm just lucky it didn't bite me somewhere more... vital. Or more than once.

It's all healed up now. ... I wish I could heal myself, though, and not have to go to the medics.

Alternately, you may wish to be capable of defending yourself, that way you will not require healing.

Yeah. I know. That's one of the reasons I wanted to go to the Scavenger's Yard. There's trash monsters there sometimes to fight.

I have not been warned of ants in the Scavenger's Yard. It may be safe. Ask a Guard.

Someone said they were. So... I don't know. Maybe I'll wait until this is all over. Or find someone to spar against.
