I got trapped in the elevator.

The memory... it's hard to describe. It was me, but it wasn't me. [His wings rustle gently.]

He... I looked different. There were soldiers in a village, and they were coming for me. A woman hid me in her house, and let me escape through a hole in the wall. Then they broke through the wall and captured her, and said they might use her in something... the Carronade.

[He takes a deep breath.] The man in the memory... he was in my dream. He said he and I are one. So... it was me in the memory.

Yeah. She was flying with me, and near the end... when I was confused and frustrated, she told me that I'm never alone.
