good times

Today was one of those special days. My 6 hour shift flew by really fast. I burned my tongue on hot soup. You know, one of those days. Oh, and I learned that I was single-handedly responsible for the new ban of beverages in the front end. Of course, this is only enforced when Craig "OMG, I hate Craig" Dumont is working.

As some of you may already know, I couldn't come to work yesterday because my car, The Polar Express, wouldn't start. Boy, that sucked. Ok, well, as my dad correctly guessed, the battery overheated. The Polar Express has a new battery now, so it runs well again. This is not to detract from the fact that my gas valve cover is lying in the backseat and my right wiper, which my sister named Rudy, doesn't really work.

After work, I spent about an hour talking to Dimitry online about what we should do. Boredom makes you almost do crazy stuff. We were seriously about to play dress-up and take pictures before we stopped ourselves.

Vadim suggested that the three of us drink, which translates to "I don't know where we can get alcohol or where we can do it, but you should take care of it and let me leech off of you" (basically directed towards Dimitry). No thanks, guy who threw the shaw's keys at my head. I haven't had any alcohol in over a month and I really don't feel up to it for a while. Besides, I don't want to embarass myself like last time.

Then we (me and Dimitry) decided to just rent a movie and go annoy Fowler at Shaw's. I took some pictures of the front end and my friends there before Dan the Man came over to tell me, in a friendly way, of course, that taking pictures is "highly illegal". I still wanted to take a picture of Amy and Joel, or something, but I did manage to get one of a surprised Fowler (whom I had snuck up on), and of a certain Matt. We caught Fowler as he was going on break. The three of us talked for a while, ended up laughing a lot, and Dimitry spilled so much of my Vanilla Coke on the floor. We quickly abandoned the break room so as not to have to clean it up. Oh, and I did leave a note for one of the store managers regarding my backpay, or lack thereof.

I can't believe I actually used a physics term in it: "...the magnitude of my backpay should be far greater."

Then we walked around Blockbuster for a while, indecisive as to what we should get. We ended up renting some Family Guy dvd. Then we walked back to Shaw's just to say bye to Fowler. Man, I'm sooooo glad we went back. We asked Fowler how things were going with him and Melissa (the girl who he now likes. She works at Shaw's). Matt also helps. Then I tell Amy and Joel about it, too. Dimitry tells them as a joke that Fowler had a date with Melissa on which they watched The Notebook. Then, across the store in unison: "OMG, YOU DID??!!!". They believed Dimitry and began interrogating Fowler, who had no idea what was going on. I nearly peed myself from laughing so hard. He seemed to enjoy the attention, which was cool. Anyways, my original plan of setting Mike up with Melissa is going well. Matt has helped a bit with it. Only a bit. I think that Amy will add quite a bit.

Then Dimitry and I went back to his house to hang out, go on facebook, drink vanilla coke, and watch family guy. His dvd player kept skipping, which was none too cool. Then he posted the most outrageous thing on Fowler's wall. We had a good laugh. I don't expect it to stay up too long. I haven't had this kind of mischievous fun since the Thursday before the end of school.

I'm at home right now. Andrea's very belated grad party is tomorrow. Should be fun. For some reason, I have a runny nose. It seems like I'm starting to come down with a bit of a cold, but I don't know why. Oh, well. I don't think it'll spoil my weekend any.

Oh, and Matt, I kept cracking up so hard during work today. Remember the "I am Ivanov." thing? LOL. It recently hit me so hard again.

Oh, and I have no work til Wednesday (3-6:45!!!)
