last night, work was pretty damn hilarious, yet pretty long. we had several funny occurences, but one that definitely tops them all. i may write about it later if i remember. let's just say it involved a creepy, anti-social fat guy who kept calling to ask about jolt cola. let's also say that several jobs were threatened by him. ok. oh, and as usual, matt and i were moved apart as soon as i came in. meaning that we were scheduled to work in adjacent lanes, but he was moved the second i came in. haha, probably one of the most hilarious parts was when matt was blatantly hitting on meridien, the customer service girl. that was pretty damn funny.

after work, i went over to his house to hang out. since he's pretty keen on learning how to play (and has his own guitar), i brought over my guitar and my amp. it was pretty cool jamming. well, we didn't really jam together. i tought him now to read tabs, as he printed out random songs that he wanted me to play. i even put my guitar into dropped-D so that he could play "sugar" by system of a down. he spent a good half hour playing 4 notes over and over again. but it was cool. i also worked out in his weight room while he was sitting there captivated.

then, at 11.30, we had a random urge to go to mcdonald's. there is nothing cooler than ordering at the drive thru from the bed of your friend's pickup truck. i think the drive thru lady probably thought we were stoned out of our minds. then we parked in the mcdonald's lot, both got into the bed of the truck, and juste ate under the night sky and talked. talking about everything and anything is cool. acting like rednecks is fun.

the good mood was not spoiled by some rednecks driving by yelling "get out of the truck, you faggots!". in fact, that made it even funnier. stupid people make me laugh.

it's funny that during the months i have known matt since february (too lazy to count), he's one of the very few people who i can act myself around. i guess i've really taken that for granted this year. i mean, being able to be yourself (with all of your quirks) around those who you call your friends, without some kind of retribution is awesome. except for like 3 or 4 ppl, i have to act differently around most people. not completely differently, but just covering up enough of your personality to have them (dare i say it) accept you more. this all sounds really sentimental and corny, much like a typical andrea entry (jk.)

ok, i've just realized that it's august already. holy crap. i'm sure i had a lot of plans for this summer, but i dont' know. i need to jam-pack my august with fun things of the Sharon nature.

i can definitely take a hint.
