Christopher Lee and Pink Floyd

This may sound very strange, but I want to write about my favorite actor, Christopher Lee, in this entry. He was born in '22 (He's 83!!!) in England, and has since then been in over 250 movies and even served in the RAF (where he became a flight lieutenant) during WWII. He has demolished the record for being in the most movies/stage performances/etc. ever. He is/was the most famous movie villain alive. He has played Count Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein, etc.. more times that you can probably count. Ok, maybe not, but still, it's pretty damn impressive.

The amount of international awards he has recieved is uncountable. He is an honorary member (and head of several) of an extreme amount of elite organizations. He has met more heads of governments than most politicians today. He also speaks 5 languages. If he weren't 65 years older than I, I would be on him like a dog on ham. Actually, I'd be on him regardless, but that's neither here nor there.

Recently, of course, he has starred in both Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. When Greg (who ended up sleeping over and taking over the super computer) told me that he was also in Willy Wonka, I nearly shat myself. Now I have another reason to see the movie besides my completely-straight crush on Johnny Depp. Uh, he's also supposed to be in Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride". Dunno if I'll end up seeing that, though. Funny how instead of retiring quietly, he seems intent on starring in as many movies as possible in his 80's.

Anyways, I could list all of his awards and accomplishments, but that would literally take up way too much space. Oh, and didja know that he's an accomplished movie swordsmen, did his own stunts, and has been in more on-screen swordfights than any actor? Now you do. Bitch!!

Oh, and as stupid as it sounds, I was really happy that Christopher Lee had the "Best Week Ever" on VH1. Maybe he'll finally get some mainstream recognition, as his super-roles seem to be before EVERYONE'S time.

Ok. ::end fawning over Christopher Lee::

I just checked the eMule program, and guess what? Turns it that it DID download Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother album. Sweeeet. Now it seems that the only two studio albums that I'm missing are Obscured by Clouds (soundtrack, so it doesn't really count) and Final Cut (widely considered to be crap).
I have...

the wall (both cds, of course)
More
piper at the gates of dawn
saucerful of secrets
ummagumma
dark side of the moon
wish you were here
animals
meddle
pulse 1 and 2
a momentary lapse of reason
division bell
zabiskie point
relics
atom heart mother

So, as you can see, it's pretty extensive. I'm missing several albums of them performing live, but I can live with that. I have THE live performance album, Pulse.

Oh, and there's this awesome song on the radio which I need to get, but I can't seem to ever catch the title or who sings it.
Ok, peace.
