Fluffy clouds abound *_*
I just got back from Hong Kong about 2 days back and I have to say I really enjoyed myself.
Hong Kong to put it, is a really busy city and really compressed with high rised buildings!
The people there are friendly but they are always rushing to go somewhere or do something!
As for me I consider myself to walk quite fast but the HK-ians are like bullet trains XD
They have an incredible MRT system which enables almost anyone to get around HongKong without the fear of getting lost!
They have such well made street signs and imagine you can actually get to your destination just by following them!
Day 1, I arrived and was greeted by a beautiful airport...well the ceiling at least XD!
City lights~
Our hotel room! We somewhat got lucky when they told my mum they couldn't provide us a twin sharing, so they decided to give us a free upgrade to a bigger room with a king sized bed. And no kidding was the room REALLY BIG and so comfortable you can roll on the floor *_*
Day 2, The thing about Hong kong styled breakfast...is that they are abit weird. We went to a local coffee shop around Mongkok and most of their shops/eatery are reallllllllyyyy small, and space is really limited! This is...macaroni with ham and clear soup it comes together with hotdog, bun and a hotdog...which makes me wonder do they eat so much? :O?
After breakfast we took the tram up to the peak, where on the way there was nice wall decos which I couldn't help but ask for some photos XD *My photos were dominated by my mum anyways!*
We went to Madamme Tussaud's wax museum! Here have a Nicholas Cage 8D
Instilling fangirl laws, with Obama looking very pleased and Bush being pissed cos he'll probably have to wear a skirt.
The late Leslie Cheung. He was actually one of the really famous HK actors, I'm not really a big fan of him but gosh he was so pretty *_*~ jiii~~!
Me mum with Astro boy!
View from the peak~!
At night we went to Mongkok AGAIN, to go shopping for the boys! I bet everyone has seen the photos of Mini dolly shop but I guess I'll just post what I have? DX I think I was quite lucky with them since when I went they were having clearance sales and it was like 3 outfits or more you get 50% discount off your total so it was a bargain I couldnt refuse! Both the shopkeeper/owner/customer? was really nice and we had a really fun time talking about dollies XD!
They were really suprised to find out that we actually buy clothes from Korea / Japan, since they said it was expensive! Due to this they were comtemplating on opening a website so that we can have the chance to buy from them too ^^!
And of course Jr Toys *WHICH WAS SO HARD TO FIND TAT* here you can see their boss giving us the hey come visit again ya pose XD!
He actually has a website but he said the choices are slightly more limited than what he has at his store, but still worth looking! Not sure if you guys have been there but this is the website www.jrtoys.net. He has 2 daugthers, one BJD and one Blythe at his counter :D
The place where Dollfie world and Jr Toys is situated is NOT called Ginza Plaza, it's Ginza Plus and it's actually down the road from CTMA not across ._.;
Truth be told BJD clothes in HK are considered much cheaper because they get their stocks from China, if you are really particular about quality then you might want to think twice before getting them. Jr Toys have many Volks outfits though and also quite a number of YoSDs on sale! I remember seeing a YoSD Shinn and Lin :D Also no shipping = good thing!
I did go to Dollfieworld but for some strange reason their store was semi closed? and there were like a bunch of guys sitting outside so I just gave up and went off XD; We didnt visit Dollheart either *the building. WHERE? and also time constraints.*
In HongKong, Blythes are really popular, you can easily find like 5-6 shops just dedicated to selling them and also Dals and Pullips! They are actually much more popular than BJDs in general though they are some shops around.
Day 3, we went to Disneyland! Yes I love my Donald very much *_*~
Snow white with some eau de toilette for you to freshen up!
It's so fluffy can I daiii 8DDDD
The boys with abit of mix and match of their new clothes :D
Abit upset that I left home for quite abit ^^;
And that is all! :D
As much as I would like to say I wanna go back to HK in the future but their prices are a killer DX;~
