(P.S. ~ Can some really sweet person make me a poster???)

[ Part 1]

Even though he could not see the person above him, Junsu knew it was a man. His scent was all male, hinting of musky aftershave cologne. Junsu’s lips tingled at the unexpected friction as cold slightly chapped lips touched him.

“Who…wha…what?” Junsu stuttered, shivering as he felt warm breath against his ice-cold skin.

It took a moment for Yoochun to figure out what the man was saying as he got lost in the heady sensation of the soft mouth that had been lifeless a moment ago, fluttering against his lips.

Coming out of his stupor, Yoochun realized the awkwardness of his position. He was literally straddling the stranger while balancing his weight on his elbows and knees. The man’s beautiful, sad eyes were staring at him blankly. Fuck

Yoochun raised his head and started to explain the situation, hoping to reassure the man. He needed to be taken to a hospital immediately and get some medical attention. What if he had another attack? Oh god please no, let him be safe! Yoochun didn’t pause to analyze the deep fear he felt at that thought or why he felt so much more than the general concern a person feels towards another human being.

“Listen….please…you need",

“GET OFF ME”, Junsu screamed, he hated feeling this vulnerable, this lost. He pushed the man with as much force he could muster and Yoochun gasped in pain and rolled over in the snow carrying Junsu with him while trying to avoid toppling on the man lying under him.

Junsu struggled violently his movements further entangling their bodies. Yoochun was now trapped under Junsu, his hands wrapped around narrow waist and legs hooked against muscular calves. Junsu’s face was pressed into Yoochun coat, limbs tangled, bodies flush against each other. Junsu struggled to get up only to put his head down with a cry as he felt a burning pain in his ear.

“LET ME GO!”

Not realizing that his silver hoop earring had gotten entangled with Yoochun’s woolen scarf, Junsu writhed desperately against Yoochun demanding to be set free only to yell in pain. Unable to move his head, Junsu tried to shift his lower body freezing as the man underneath him groaned, begging him to stop. His skin changed color as he felt the man hardening under him.

“Please….stop moving…your earring is all wound up with my muffler. I am going to free it and then you can get up okay?” Yoochun pleaded, feeling like a complete jerk.

His arousal as the stranger kept rubbing and pressing against his groin was wrong at so many levels but he could not stifle his groan as the man writhed against him. His mind and body were at odds with each other as he reminded himself that he had just performed CPR on the man.

He heard a soft “Okay” after what seemed an eternity and the struggling stopped. Yoochun let out a little payer of gratitude and started gently untangling woolen strands wrapped tightly around the sterling sliver.

Junsu lay still as the man pulled his head down to his chest. He could feel the man’s heart beating under him in a clear steady rhythm. Junsu realized that he was no longer scared of the man and he wondered why he somehow felt safe in the hands of this stranger when he had lost trust in people eons ago.

Carefully removing the last of the strands binding them, Yoochun paused, staring at the man’s dark silken locks. He seemed so young and vulnerable, eyes closed as he patiently endured Yoochun’s ministration not flinching even when it must have hurt. Yoochun fought an overwhelming urge to hug the man tighter and tell him that he would always keep him safe. He tightened his grip around the man’s waist, lips kissing tousled locks and closed his own eyes.

They lay like that in the snow, wrapped in each others arms till Naenuni decided that it was time she made her presence felt. Her sharp, excited barks and eager licks finally snapped them out of their world and brought them back to reality.

“You can get up now.” Yoochun informed hastily and Junsu got up a bit too quickly. He swayed on his feet, feeling disoriented and Yoochun leapt up to hold him, worry evident in his voice.

“Look you need to get to a hospital immediately. You were passed out and I had to give you CPR. If….if…it’s your heart….you need medical attention right now. ”

It was not his heart, it was his brain. An anxiety attack, the kind he hadn’t experienced for years now. His control and strength was all just an illusion. It had taken a minor disruption of his tightly controlled schedule for everything to break apart. Junsu felt a rush of self hate at being this weak.

“It was just an anxiety attack,” he replied, voice as cold as the ice that surrounded them. He withdrew his hands from Yoochun and turned away.

“I would have revived momentarily even if you hadn’t rushed in to save me but thank you all the same. By the way this is private property and you are trespassing please leave immediately”.

Yoochun reeled in shock. What just happened here?

Gone was the air of pain and vulnerability that made you want to hold him and wipe away all his sorrows. The man in front of him was tough, brutal and icecold, he didn’t need anybody’s help. Junsu whistled and Naenuni immediately came up to him and stood to his right. He bent down and picked up the leash attached to her collar. Two sharp, one command and she turned towards the familiar pathway that would take them home.

Yoochun stood in shocked silence watching the stranger walk away, it shouldn’t have hurt this much but it did. It was only when man and dog had nearly disappeared from his sight that Yoochun remembered he was still lost and they were his only chance for survival. A brief moment of hesitation, a sinful thought of escaping the pain once and for all and then the stranger’s sad eyes flashed in front of him. He was not the only one hurting.

“HEY YOU…..STOP!” Yoochun shouted, giving chase only to immediately stumble and fall.

This is getting old he thought, flinching, as his already wet shirt absorbed more of the melting snow. He looked at the object that had tripped him and realized it was a long, white, cane, the kind you see in hand of the blind. He wondered how it got there then his eyes widened as realization struck.

Sad hazel eyes staring at him blankly…no way….no fucking way.

He grabbed the cane and started running again. Junsu tensed, fingers clenching Naenuni’s leash as he heard the man running towards him, icy mask firmly in place to hide his rising nervousness. He stopped and faced the man who had disturbed the equilibrium that had taken him years to establish.

Yoochun doubled over hands on knees as he gasped for breath. The ice cold air seared through his lungs then condensed to a misty cloud as he exhaled. He slowly straightened and his heart clenched as beautiful eyes stared at him unseeingly. So it was true.

“Why..”, Yoochun cursed under his breath, managing to stop himself from coming across as a completely insensitive asshole…

Why didn’t you tell me you are blind...well maybe because it was none of my business?

“Why did you just leave me there? Here you forgot this”. He extended his hand then quickly lowered it flushing in embarrassment. Stupid..stupid..stupid.

Unsure of what to do and never particularly good socially let alone in socially awkward situations, he clumsily thrust the cane into the man’s lax fingers then quickly bent down to pet the dog who had saved his life.

He knew...

Junsu’s fingers tightened familiarly against the rounded handle of his cane. Why that fact bothered him he did not know, its not like he tried to hide his condition. He just stayed away from people. As he heard the man cooing sweet endearments to his sole living companion, something churned inside him. He stifled a gasp when he realized the unfamiliar feeling twisting at his guts was resentment. A spark of jealousy, that the beautiful voice speaking so tenderly and affectionately was directed at Naenuni, not him.

The desire to get rid of all this uncertainty and get back to his familiar setting made his tone harsher than he intended.

“Didn’t I ask you to leave? What the hell are you still doing here?”

Yoochun stopped petting the dog. Naenuni...my eyes.

He got up and faced the man he had avoiding, the man he thought he was saving. The man whose beautiful eyes could not see him.

“I am Yoochun and I am lost....will you save me?"
