Giving my mom the silent treatment..

Lately I've been searching information about different kinds of rabbits. A Mini Lop or a Polish rabbit would be nice, they're just too cute T_T But there's a problem called mom. Whenever I want something, my mom says NO. I told her about this rabbit thing today and she just said NO. Why? Why does she always say no? I showed some pictures of Mini Lops and Polish rabbits to my dad and he was like "OMG! They're so cute" and stuff. But my mom. Argh.
