a)  a math professor who does not believe in partial credit, but still issues tests where 70% of the points stem from one question, which involves multiple comprehensive calculations.

how much do you want to bet that you'll get a one sentence e-mail back? i love when teachers do that. you spend all this time writing an e-mail to them and they respond with one sentence. THANKS ASSHOLE!
