So, here goes....
I am repeating myself in such a pathetic manner over and over again, but.... all this is simply not comprehendable anymore. Today I found myself looking at the people from Ghana dancing and singing and realizing that all this isn't exactly "normal", i.e. as it used to be. And, sadly, as it will be again quite soon. I wish this.... this could still go on for a while.
Inevitably the Italians did a car parade after their victory, while it took the people from Ghana a few minutes longer to get their stuff together and hit the streets by foot, dancing and singing and sweeping up simply everyone in their way in a wave of music and joy. I think I like them the best of all celebrating fan groups. They're wonderful.
The match Croatia/Australia was in my city today, and by mid-day the whole city had turned Red and White. With tiny specks of yellow and green here and there. ;) While the Croatians obviously pwned the place, the Aussies were having the best party you could ever wish for. A seemingly quite small group of loosely estimated a hundred Aussies entertained almost the whole square of about 60 000 Croatians. XD
And, because I like to spam, here are some Aussie chants:

I watched the match at the Aussie fangroup. And boy, that match was TEH SUSPENSE.... arghlllll, I almost bit my blanket. But we were having tons of fun. And "won" in the end.
The people in that group were so very sweet and it was only after we had sung and cheered and talked for a while together that we found out that almost about half of us weren't exactly "genuine" Aussies in the first place. XD Most were Germans or half-Germans, some English or Canadian, some ???.... but 90% were wearing the yellow shirt and waving a flag around. And talking Aussie accent, too! *LOL*
