Chapter OneChapter Two Junsu walked over to the examining table, the knife still in his right hand. He grinned menacingly and the light from the large overhead lamp atop the room reflected off the rim of his glasses. He brought the knife up, about a foot and three inches away from Yoochun’s face, he was just about to strike down when he heard a voice emit from the intercom connected to the left corner at the top of the room.
“Junsu. In my office. Now."
Junsu growled but complied with the order. No matter how much he wanted to pull Park Yoochun limb from limb, he definitely did not want to go against his high-up. Junsu put down his hatchet-type knife and caressed Yoochun’s bloody cheek.
“I’ll be back to disembody you later.”
Junsu smiled and fixed his white lab coat, he never did enjoy having wrinkles on his clothes.
Yunho let go of the black intercom button at the top right corner of his desk and turned his chair to the front. Jaejoong was sitting at the chair in front of Yunho’s desk, his lips so full; eyes so sharp and full of lust, cheeks tinted a light pink. Yunho found difficulty remembering how to breathe. His eyes traveled up and down Jaejoong’s body, his pant suit which hugged him in all the right places, his auburn hair parted to the left, left hand in his pocket.
In Yunho’s head, countless scenes played out in his head; his favorite one was Jaejoong begging him for more under his touch, eyes tearful, and hands clutching Yunho’s back; red lines melting down his toned backside. Yunho shot his client a smile and Jaejoong felt weak at the knees, he was in love with Junsu, but this man. This Jung Yunho; if Jaejoong was superman, Yunho would be his kryptonite. If Jaejoong was Barbie, then Yunho would be Ken. Jaejoong felt so guilty for thinking these thoughts, he shook his head and Yunho noticed.
Yunho stood up from his leather chair and sauntered over to Jaejoong’s chair; he rested his hand on Jaejoong’s and noticed a chain link bracelet on his wrist. He unclasped it and set it down on the desk, Jaejoong glanced up at him and he could feel the rage building up inside of him. He leaned forward to take the bracelet back but found himself locking lips with Yunho. Jaejoong resisted at first, but coming to the conclusion that he wouldn’t be able to overpower Yunho, he gave in and his arms fell to his sides. Jaejoong kept his eyes slightly open but none of the two noticed that the door had been cracked open.
Junsu walked in his hands shot up to his mouth, tears had fallen and gasps had been put out. Jaejoong pulled away from Yunho and he bit the inside of his lip, cursing himself. Junsu couldn’t believe his eyes, or at least that’s what Yunho had though, but Jaejoong just walked to the side and ducked. Before Yunho could ask him what was going on, a bullet wound could be seen on the right side of his chest. Junsu aimed perfectly and hit his target; Yunho fell to the floor and his hands clutching his wound, the blood seeping through his vest.
“What the hell Junsu?!”
Yunho was able to gasp out as he knew he was slowly losing consciousness. He saw out of the corner of his eye that Jaejoong was starting to stand up and he walked behind Junsu to wrap his arms around the smaller frame of the man.
“Our deal is over and the contract is terminated. I will no longer be in need of your services.”
Jaejoong smiled and Junsu placed the gun back into his pocket. Yunho cursed but in such a low whisper that Jaejoong was not able to make out, but Junsu heard it, he heard it all too clear.
“You’re not going to get out of this building alive.”
Junsu cringed a bit but paid no attention to the statement made by the man who was full of empty threats. Jaejoong dusted off his sleeves and he knew that something dire was going to happen. He needed to get Junsu out of here; fast. He wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he let anything happen to Junsu. As Jaejoong let go of his arms wrapped around Junsu, he could hear the faint sound of an alarm going off.
“Shit.”
Junsu now felt fear in Yunho’s words. Jaejoong turned around and grasped Junsu’s shoulders. He stared straight into Junsu’s eyes and Junsu could feel his blood rushing throughout his entire body.
“Junsu, we’re going to get out of here alive, okay? Hold onto my hand and don’t let go. Promise me that you won’t let go.”
“I promise, Jaejoong.”
Jaejoong smiled and grabbed Junsu’s hand and ran out of the room. Junsu didn’t let go and he turned his head around. Yunho was still on the floor, the blood still seeping out, he was probably dead already. Then he looked at the desk, he gasped and tried to run back but Jaejoong pulled him forward and Junsu was near tears. Junsu wanted to go back and get the bracelet, but he promised Jaejoong that he wouldn’t let go. He held back the tears and found his composure.
“Junsu! Give me your gun!”
Junsu frantically took out the gun from before in his pocket and handed it to Jaejoong. The security guards were starting to shoot and Jaejoong shot back; he’d rather have himself killed than Junsu. Jaejoong kept running through the corridor which seemed to never end. The guards still shooting, Jaejoong looked back and let out a relieved sigh seeing as Junsu wasn’t hit yet. He cursed at himself for not focusing in front of him and a bullet grazed his face. It lightly grazed his cheek but it wasn’t enough for Jaejoong to falter, he turned back slightly and pressed the trigger three times, Junsu looked back and he was once again in awe of Jaejoong, he hit four men with only three bullets. It seemed so impossible, but this was Kim Jaejoong.
Changmin’s car got to Yunho’s facility and Seung Hyun filed out after Changmin. Changmin could hear an alarm ringing through his ears.
“Shit.”
Changmin ran toward the elevator and Seung Hyun followed. Changmin stopped and turned around. Seung Hyun came to a pause and Changmin took out his gun.
“Go look for Yunho and kill him if he isn’t dead already.”
Changmin started again in the direction of the underground corridor where Yoochun was most like be.
“And you sir?”
“I’m going to look for Yoochun. If I don’t contact you in thirty minutes, go back to Ji Yong and leave the country, I have a feeling that once people find out Jung Yunho is dead; they’re going to need some answers.”
Seung Hyun nodded and the two went their separate ways. Changmin ran over to the elevator but decided against it and used the stairs instead. Three minutes passed already and Changmin finally got to the beginning of the corridor. There were a countless number of rooms, but Changmin didn’t know where to start first.
He slammed his fist on the wall and he buckled when he heard the elevator gears and chains start moving. He took a step or two back from the wall and looked back at the elevator door. It took about two seconds for the doors to split open. Just as the doors opened, Changmin pulled out his gun and took another step back.
Jaejoong just about to walk out with Junsu, the two still grasping each other’s hand. Jaejoong focused his gaze forward and shoved Junsu behind him.
“Run. He didn’t see you yet. You still have a chance to get out.”
Jaejoong whispered and Junsu didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t leave Jaejoong, not like this.
“Junsu, you only have three seconds, when I say run, you have to run, okay? Promise me that you’ll run.”
Tears were already pooling in Junsu’s eyes and he looked up at Jaejoong’s back.
“I. I promise, Jaejoong. But you have to promise me that you’ll come out alive. Please, just promise me that.”
“Run!”
Jaejoong pushed Junsu toward the second corridor and Junsu faltered just the slightest before he ran off out of Jaejoong’s sight.
“I’m sorry Junsu. I can’t promise that.”
Changmin walked up and a cable from the top of the elevator broke, sparks flying. Jaejoong walked out from the elevator and wiped the blood from his face. His hand fell to his side, the gun not aiming at Changmin.
Changmin was finally able to make out who was in the elevator, and he dropped his gun-wielded arm to his side. The two took some more steps toward each other until they were about three meters apart. Ten minutes have passed already.
“So Jaejoong, I wonder who’s going to leave alive. Me, or you?”
