yay
i'm really looking forward to tomorrow and friday. hope and i are going to grand rapids. she just booked our hotel and we're planning on going around to a bunch of the museums and stuff. the grand rapids art museum is awesome. we went there once in january and liked it so much we've wanted to go back since... but this time we're actually going to have time to look around and not be confined by driving back that night. i hope we get there at least some point in the afternoon so we have time to look around and do some stuff... and so that we avoid rush hour. construction is seriously so fucked around the state i just don't even want to think about it. anyway, i'm so excited i can barely contain it. :) i'm hoping i'll be able to keep the trip relatively inexpensive since we have traverse city and nyc coming up in september. regardless, i hope we have a good time.
i've been unusually drawn to cryptids lately. i don't necessarily believe in them... they just interest me. i just wonder what they are... what caused people to believe they saw something they probably didn't.
my coworker wei, who i've worked with for 8 years, is leaving friday. i had to say goodbye to her today since i won't be in on her last day. she's always been so nice and patient with me when i get mad about our projects. i hope whoever we get to replace her will be half as nice. :\
anyway, back to monster quest.
