subaru with five live (30 sep 2008)
i've read a couple of reports on the show so i decided to just share some parts that i love...(^-^)
1. the venue was really small...my seat was the 11th row of G block...i thought that it wasn't a really good seat (it was the second row of second floor) but subaru came out from our side and i saw him right in front of my eyes!!!! kyaa!!! if i had reached out my hand further, i could've touched him!!! five came out from the opposite side...
2. subaru kept on apologizing because they sang a lot of new songs...he was like, 'i'm sorry but please listen to the next song...'....so cute!!!!
3. before they performed 'starlight', subaru mentioned that the next song was going to be a love song...the crowd on the opposite side of us went, 'woooooo...' then they started playing the music but immediately stopped...it seemed that there was something wrong with rikiya's guitar...subaru and uesato kept on saying, 'this is what a live is....things like this happen...' a staff was helping rikiya with his guitar but it was taking too much time that subaru started to talk...he asked us, 'how are things lately?'...some of us replied, 'yay!!!'...and he said, 'that's good...'...and then someone shouted out, 'subaru kawaii!!!'...and another girl shouted out, 'subaru kakkoii!!!'...subaru then said, 'wow, i'm kawaii AND kakkoii...i know, i know!!!' (he was kinda singing when he said this, 'shitteru, shitteru!!...wakatteru, wakatteru!!') and then the crowd again went, 'woooooo...' uesato then said, 'today's crowd are really weird...they even did the woooo thing when starlight was introduced!!!..' subaru then said, 'that's right...that's the most inappropriate thing to do when someone just said that they were going to perform a love song!!! kuuki yomeyo!!!'...and then he turned to rikiya, 'you're still not done yet?!'...rikiya and the staff were trying really hard to solve the problem...they even brought him a new guitar...subaru and uesato then continued to thank us for coming even though it had been raining the whole day...
4. during his mane of the freedom guy, uesato told us that he went to a convenience store earlier...it was raining so he brought along his vinyl umbrella...when he entered the store, he left his umbrella outside but when he was done, he came out only to find his umbrella missing...someone took it...then he told us to sing along with him, 'vinyl umbrella is freedom!!!'...we did a couple of times and then he continued saying that he could've been very macho and walk in the rain without an umbrella but eventually he bought a new one!!!
5. during mc, uesato and subaru talked about how only the two of them would talk during mc...the rest would just stand and listen...subaru then asked rikiya what happened just now...and he said that there was trouble with the machine...and everyone was satisfied...rikiya then continued saying that, 'actually i was so high that i stomped on the switch and it broke!!' everyone went, 'eh?! so it was your fault after all? and we thought it was the machine the whole time!!!' rikiya showed them the switch...it seemed that the switch sort of bent a little...and then they talked about what they want to do later as furafura...subaru said that he wanted to do a zenkoku tour...rikiya agreed and said, 'lets go from the northest part, hokkaido and down to kobe!!'...everyone laughed...subaru then said, 'why not go until somewhere below kobe? lets go a bit further then come back to kobe!!!'...uesato said, 'why kobe? you're from osaka right?!'...subaru just laughed shyly...then he asked makino, 'what about you?'..makino was surprised and he didn't say anything much but moved around so subaru scolded him telling him to stay still...uesato then said that five will be doing a live in mid october and he asked subaru if he was busy during that time...subaru thought seriously for a while that uesato asked him, 'don't tell me that you're really thinking of coming!!!'...subaru then replied, 'of course i'm going!!! if i'm free that is!!!' uesato then said, 'maybe then we can sing some furafura songs!!!'...everyone agreed and they even talked about doing the zenkoku tour within this year...
6. they moved on to the acoustic part of the live...i LOVE the wahhahha acoustic version!!!!! i want to listen to it every night before i go to sleep!!! it turned out to be a totally different song altogether!!! beautiful performance!!! simply amazing!!! after performing watashi kagami and mamoritai, subaru told us to give a big hand to yasuda shouta and ohkura tadayoshi...
7. i love five's song, I&I...it's kinda nice to see and hear subaru doing the back vocal for this song...we did the 'yeah, yeah, yeah AHHA!!!' part for gojouni go...we shouted 'knock out hell (it sounded like nokkatte)' and 'nokkatte' for the song, nokkatte many times that my throat started to hurt...pray was also a magnificient performance!!! i nearly cried...but i guess i'm not that emotional...(^-^)
8. they were all really cute during the can do! can go! performance...it was fun to see them acting like REAL johnny's (hahahaha!!!)...well, more like jrs...makino's pants starting falling off in the middle of the song that he couldn't dance properly...subaru and rikiya were laughing hard watching him trying to dance his solo part with his hand holding his pants!!! he looked embarrassed...i never knew that he was such a shy guy...i always had this image of him being really funny like maru...but he is like the complete opposite...during this song, the tapes flew in the air...i was too busy trying to grab one thet i didn't notice that ishigaki cameby to our place...he was standing only inches away!!!! i was like, 'are? when did you come?' (^-^) after this song, they ran backstage to change while a video was shown onscreen...it was during theis dance rehearsel and makino was having a difficult time dancing...subaru scolded him a couple of times...but after hard training, he managed to dance perfectly and everyone was happy for him...when they showed up onstage again, 'makino call' started...the rest of the furafura members didn't know what to to and just looked at maikno expecting him to do something...makino looked at them and suddenly hit his drum, playing a japanese traditional song (they noramlly use taiko for this)...the rest then started dancing aroung to the sound, but maikno suddenly stopped...subaru then told us all, 'what's wrong with you guys today?! what do you expect him to do after that makino call?! you guys are weird!!!'...then the crowd went, 'woooooo....' again...subaru then said, 'why do you guys always bokeru?! i'm tired of tsukkomi-ing you guys!!! enough with it already!!!'.....the crowd : wooooooo....furafura : dou shiyou? (what are we going to do?) then subaru said, 'i only have one thing to say, do whatever you want!!! now's the time to do whatever you want...let go of yourself...lets get wild!!!!' and everyone went kyaaaaaaa!!!! he then told those who managed to grab a lot of the tapes give some to those who didn't get any...so, those in front started passing the tapes behind...seeing this, subaru said, 'not now!!! you can do that later!!!!'...
9. for the second encore, they came out wearing afro wigs...only rikiya had on a colorful one...the others were wearing black ones...they sang furafura...rikiya then ran into the audience seating and got a girl to come with him to the stage...subaru then grabbed her hand and pulled her onstage...rikiya then put his guitar around her neck while subaru guided her to play...rikiya then took off his wig and put it on her...this girl played the guitar and subaru joined her on his knees....then when she was done, rikiya took his guitar back and subaru pulled the girl and gave her a hug!!!! kyaaa!!! lucky girl!!! then they told us to sing furafura with them...first the divided us into blocks and then they wanted those in their 20s to sing along, then 30s and 40s...there were two ladies in their 40s near where we were seating...they were jumping up and down...and uesato told them to come up on stage but they shook their heads....and then there was the lady in her 50s who received a loud cheer and applause after singing the furafura part...then they were those under the age of 10 and two gentlemen (probably fathers who brought accompanied their children)...when everything was over, makino was leaving the stage but the rest gathered on stage...when he saw this, he ran as fast as he could towards them...they then bowed and said arigatou and left...subaru took off his wig and placed in on stage and then left...rikiya was the last one to leave since he was shaking hands with some fans...when he saw that everyone left, he rushed backstage...
I HAD A BLAST!!! i hope that they'll have it on dvd!!! i know that it's kinda impossible but, lets just hope!!! (^-^)
