Gosh, I've really had nothing to say lately.

Classes are going great. I actually finished my last paper on time, and got to see a Twins game besides (they lost horribly, but Gardy did a huge def sub in the 8th when we were down six, and then we had the bases loaded two times after that. If we still had a bench, we might have been able to pinch hit). I got my third A+ in my linguistics class, and the teacher wrote on the test "Excellent, as usual!"

I've switched to m-f at work, so I can get actual full days to work on the house (and the occasional Twins game). This also means that I'm a full-time mobile officer, so if there's nothing for me to do, I don't really have to do anything. That sounds right up my alley.

Steph started her new job yesterday, so she's going to have a lot more time for the house, now, too. And her job sounds pretty damn neat. They're getting massage chairs!

I guess I do have one thing on my mind. In regards to the Ford plant closing (and yes, I'm aware that they make Rangers there), what do you say about a company who banked hard on SUVs, started failing when customers wanted hybrids and foreign-made cars, vowed (in multiple interviews and articles and ad campaigns) to become more eco-friendly, and then released...a hybrid SUV?!

How could noone predict this thing failing? I took one advertising class in college, and I can tell.

When I look at an SUV I see power. When I look at a Hybrid, I don't.

When I look at a Hybrid, I see fuel effeciency. When I look at an SUV, I don't.

And don't tell me that this is chocolate and peanut butter-"two great tastes that taste great together." This is like chocolate and -- I don't know -- gazpacho. This two traits are basically mutually exclusive. So, why would they think anyone would buy it?
