Like every other night, Sunny leaned against a lamppost, legs crossed and posture seductive. However, she felt anything but. She knew how much she hated this job and never hesitated to show it, but while on it she could never do the same, could she? Money was hard to come by these days and no employer would believe how much smarts she had if she didn’t have a degree to prove it.

Pfft. Superficial creatures they were, humans. But she played it to her advantage, using her well-endowed figure to catch the preying eyes of passersby. They would approach, usually a hand sneaking around her waist, breath reeking of alcohol threatening to induce her vomit. Instead she would slowly blink, fluttering her mascara decorated eyelashes at them.

By the end of it all, she would have popped a mint and swirled it around her mouth, the unsuspecting predator knocked out from the powder drug layered upon her neck. She always made sure to pick the wealthy pricks; Rolex or more expensively accessorized wrists. They wouldn’t miss a few notes less, but she scowled at the occasional credit card packed wallet. These she went on a shopping spree with, though never greedier than at a nearby supermarket. She had to survive, and to survive she wasn’t going to chalk up a debt enough for these men to send police on her tracks.

Eyeing the time, Sunny let out a sigh. There had only been women walking past her for the past hour or so, meaning she’d chosen the wrong place to be.

Just as she pushed herself off the post, a hand grabbed her wrist, drawing a curse from deep within her throat. She stumbled and turned to glare at the darned man.

Only, it was a woman.

Well, she had noticed only women for the past hour after all.

The darned woman showed a poker face, not a tad bit apologetic for having possibly yanked her hand off.

“What do you want?”

Sunny frowned when after a few seconds, she found the woman staring below her face level. Was she ogling?

“Excuse me, my face is up here.”

The woman broke out of her trance, expression bored.

“There’s weird stuff on your neck, but I guess you use talcum powder or something.”

Sunny blinked, though not out of an attempt at seduction. No one had noticed before, always too clouded by their own lust to care.

“Y-yeah, I do. Thanks. Bye.”

“Wait, can I have your number?”

Startled, Sunny blurted out the first thought that came to mind.

“Whatever for?”

A tint of pink graced the woman’s features, but the dark of night hid it perfectly. Sunny stared at the stoned stranger, confusion apparent from her tilted head.

She wished for a start that she hadn’t been pulled towards the sexy woman like a metal to magnet and for a second, that she hadn’t tried to pick up the woman after seemingly offending her (but really, who still used talcum powder nowadays?). To wrap it up, she slapped herself mentally for feeling so overwhelmed by the cuteness the stranger was displaying.

“Um… call me,” was all she could mumble, retrieving a name card from its holder and forcing it into the cuti-um, stranger’s, hand.

Sunny watched the woman walk off quickly, almost losing her balance while turning the corner. She raised the card to the light, mind whirling with doubts.

She raised an eyebrow. Was she trying to pick me up?

A/N: Inspired by this gif. I planned this to be a one-shot, but I'm not sure what to develop of this. Will either continue this if I get ideas, or leave this as a drabble lol.
