my mom just got off the phone with my dad... apparently there's a LOT of police action in the apartment complex across the street from our neighborhood... and it's on the news....
for those of you who haven't heard about it yesterday morning there was a shooting in fulton county where a guy, Brian Nichols, was probably going to be convicted of a crime that day.. he killed a judge and two other people and is still on the loose.
they're closing in, cause they just found the truck in the apartment complex across the street from here... and dad says to lock the doors and stay inside cause he's in the area on foot.
i hate this neighborhood... two christmases ago there was a drive-by in the house next door ON CHRISTMAS EVE and a guy was killed... there have been drug busts upon drug busts... it's a regular thing... and last year there was another police chase/manhunt on foot through the neighborhood with about 10 cars and dogs and everything... which is what they've got out now.
except i have to leave and take my brother to the baseball field at the high school... here's hoping i don't get carjacked. *crosses fingers*
