i'm a physics major :( :( :(
so I officially declared course 8 today...
long story short, my advisor accidentally kept my major declaration form and lost it in the mail, so I had to do another one...
what am I getting myself into?? a better question, is Dourmashkin a valid advisor? or Joannopoulos? or Ketterle? or Walter Lewin?? I would die if Walter Lewin were my advisor... and I would only be able to call him "Walter Lewin" too, even though he's probably one of the most well-known physics professors here (I imagine). Eric Hudson would be an amusing advisor as well... as long as I don't get Rappaport, I'll be fine >.>
though... Dourmashkin isn't listed at all on the course 8 faculty/staff site... how sad :(
on another course 8 related note, apparently Walter Lewin has taught 8.03 for the past 2 fall semesters!! so I might have Walter Lewin next semester!! that would be so awesome!! :D:D:D
